No its no one from here, its not really bagging just stating he'd like to know who supplied him the adaptor plate, I'm assuming the problem is the same as what I've heard, holes didn't line up perfectly, and it must be perfect when dealing with countersunk bolts. RIPS did the first 4wd rb30det that I know of over in NZ, he's been around for a long time playing with these things. He was the one to tell me the std rb30 oil restrictors are borderline but ok.

If you run low imp injectors on an ecu where the drivers are not designed to handle such current you will smell smoke then possibly here a bang from the ecu. There's a vid floating around, some one hooked up low imp inj. to an ecu that is designed to handle high imp injectors, initially the inj. drivers handled it fine at light throttle/low rpm but as soon as rpm was increased the injector drivers began to smoke then went pop.

You need not to worry as your buckets are not hydraulic. The RB26 runs solids, they use shims to take up the slack. So store them how ever you like.

I can say I've had ricers in their buz box's pull up next to me and do this before.. My reaction was .............. similiar. lmao. http://videos.streetfire.net/hottestvideos...5AFFC25839C.htm and I really have to say.. I'm a v8 redneck or what aussy's call bogans at heart. http://videos.streetfire.net/hottestvideos...2272D9A953D.htm and this... this is friggin awesome.. I'll drop that on my lawn mower. http://videos.streetfire.net/hottestvideos...743E1D136A9.htm

0-100 Km/h Times Are Useless, So Stop Asking For Them

Or............ don't stall it and sit quietly as not to make them think you are going to give it stick then let that 3ltr off idle torque rip through first. -
I've ran a 100mm dia cai which is larger than the one in the pic here. In 4years maybe slightly more and 150,000km's.. Never had a problem. People worry too much. I've been though those big aquaplaning puddles that you can't see when driving in really heavy rain. I checked the filter soon after, it was dry the cai did have a little mist in it.

lol @ the assult dude. Pretty damn funny vid. This ones a bit of a laugh also. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7327816737865053376

annd... what did you manage to run? as per the 0-100 times thread the first 60ft is pretty damn important.

I used PVC pipe for mine.

around corners.. I know its far from comparable (it was a piece of shit) but my old VS 5ltr 5speed had a similiar issue around corners. It was a loose engine mount causing the exhaust to touch something giving a grinding sound.

I've done 40,000km's on my multilayer metal cometic headgasket. Just just a few more thousand than a few thousand.

Hi Pfc Knock Could The Sensor Be Faulty?
Cubes replied to grepin's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hrmm very interesting... I am having a det issue around 4000-4500rpm but I am getting a little valve float so I've put down to this for now. I've dropped ign. levels to stupidly low and richened afr's with only a slight improvement. Bl4ck32, when I had the logit hooked up and was watching there was a spot around the same rpm as mine that required a heap of ign. to be pulled out. Peak torque was seeing around 18degree's where as this silly spot higher in the rpm being only 1 or 2 cells saw little difference to knock levels if I pulled out 10degree's. I didn't fiddle with fuel, but now I am beginning to suspect it is indeed fuel. Either way 18degree's at that point was stupidly high seeing 100+ knock. I dropped it down to around 15 which only see's knock of 60 odd at that rpm. BUT.. Bl4ck32 does have coil issues so this issue only showed when the coils were cold as once they were warm there was no chance in hell of hitting that load point due to massive missing. There's too many variables for bl4ck32 and my own case, I'm dropping springs in as soon as exams are over so I'm crossing my fingers there's no det. Apart from that my knock sensors read rather reliable, cold start see's around 10 and if I run too much ign. at cruise when cold knock levels will sit on 30 odd. I'm guessing this is due to the cold start fuel + adv. ign. causing slight det at light load. Bl4ck32's initial tune didn't have the logit hooked up and saw no det issues, my initial tune did have the fclogit hooked up and had no det issues. Later down the track I began seeing issues with det AND lifter pump up so this is where I have put the two together and decided my det issues are caused from lifter pump up. If I lower boost I get no det and no lifter pump up. Providing its not puffing black fuel out on the dyno and you can't hear anything its not detonating, as you stated. Its still worrying though. -

So especially no more 4wd vs rwd 0-100 comparisons. -
After Installing Bosch 040 Fuel Pump...
Cubes replied to CATKICKER's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
He did say some so who knows.. At the time I knew of a few other 33's running around with 044's and didn't have problems. Maybe he came across one with a crimped return line and didn't realise. -

It makes perfect sense.. Awesome thread, I can say I have never 'really thought' about acceleration with regards to distance traveleed over time vs km/h for a given time. This would also explain why you need so much more power to play catchup. One car clearly has so much more power yet it appears as if they are not really gaining on them at the expected rate (sucking doors off speed) -

He didn't say the stock regulator would blow it was more so it wasn't able to pass enough on idle, extended idling would cause fuel pressure to creep slightly. It was mainly on idle which used to run the lower voltage but eventually it would begin getting noisy even when cruising, now as its direct feed its always on high so much better. -
Maybe a little more fuel with a little more ignition timing gave better results than less fuel less ignition timing. Nothing wrong with 193rwkw anyway.. I'd say its the norm for the dyno I run on at least. That 211rwkw dyno sheet was a bit of a freak run.. It made 187rwkw on the same dyno another day. probably just tied down different or something. lol hehehe Comapring pauls dyno sheet to a few other rb25's here paul has more average power everywhere. 130km/h is pretty impressive.

Cubes replied to CATKICKER's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Awesome tip Chris.. How are your cold starts now? I remember I heard it stall and stumble once? I dialed in 35ms for the +10 and 21 for the +30 and now mine is perfect. -
193rwkw is nicer.. Thats the norm I would say.

Which leads me on to... AVERAGE POWER! Throw that Mazda Bravo behind a CVT trans and it might be a different story. But yes as I've said before, its the complete package that matters. Power, gearing, weight, traction and driver. -

So what your saying Big Rizza is Torque wins races. Now I just need to work on getting it down through the rear wheels. -
After Installing Bosch 040 Fuel Pump...
Cubes replied to CATKICKER's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My 910 used to be really bad when hot as it was external, that gurgle sound would transmit vibrations to the floor pan. Was nasty as. I rewired the pump and its made the pump quieter and shifted the harmonics up so that it no longer vibrates anything. -
lol.. So why not share these adjustments? Its not the old frp bleeder trick is it?

Chris, Does your 044 make those gurgling noises? Darrens had his put in by Shaun and its pretty damn quiet, just the usual buzz.
