  1. I've only done it once, to a traffic controller when they were building the new Ikea about a year ago, the guy was standing toward me with a decent sized puddle infront of him, surely he should have expected it? i did have to get a little closer to the kerb though, the guy wasn't happy about it, turned around and was waving his sign around. He was getting paid to be there, and he should have put himself in a position where that couldn't happen, so IMO, it was fair game, I won't get regular joe on the side of the road though.
  2. Enzed sell Earl's, they're in Welshpool.
  3. I saw at United Osborne Park today had 98 at 1c cheaper than 95 wtf?
  4. It's nice that they can find you the job, and can find you another if you get fired/don't get along etc, I think it's worth getting it yourself (you can still be sent to MITA to do your training, I did) around 30-40% of people in my classes weren't MITA employed, and didn't hae to f**k around with all the BS you have to with MITA (MITA pays YOU, from money they get from the employer, take their cut, and you have to organise your holidays through them etc). A mate is a 4th year MITA employed, he's on $14.60 and hr, I'm on $19 and not MITA employed....
  5. Yeh dealership ftw, new, clean cars, lots of people, lots of parts at hand, I couldn't imagine working at a small workshop now, I'd done work experience at a couple before, everything is just so much easier at a dealership. Some of the bigger ones have dedicated workshop cleaners, so you dont' even have to do any cleaning up BS in your first year, mine didn't have a cleaner though
  6. A mate used to work at Kmart, there was a toolbox and tools that was $200 on special for $30 (not great tools, but still nice to have some stuff for home). I thought sweet, and got him to put it aside (he got one for himself too), I come in to get it, he scans it on the floor, $3 'arr, I better fix that, they might get a bit suspicious at the checkout' so he put it back up to $30, I get to the checkout, gets scanned, $11, score. The box for it is in the background here, I'm proud
  7. R32 4 door is ugly (don't hate me ), but it has frameless windows R33 4 door is hawt, but it has framed windows

    Car Loans

Since it's an unsecured personal loan, what it's being spent on shouldn't matter? I have one, they never asked what it was for...
  9. Tech 9 tyres in Myaree do it, I think it was $55 a corner. The paint will crack on the inside, but you can't see anything from the outside.
  10. Just rang Just Cars yesterday to get my rims covered that I got fitted a few weeks ago, $34 or so to have an extra $500 of 'agreed' value to the car (although I said the rims were worth $1500), just if anyone was interested..
  11. It worked! But if I plug it in and turn ignition on it'll go to max again! if you leave it on ACC or have the engine running and plug the guage in it'll show the proper temp.... done some more multimetering, the wire that's meant to be only powered on ignition is powered on acc too, so hopefully that is the underlying problem.
  12. Thanks mate, I have some half decent magnets at work, so I'll give it a shot tomorrow. I'm in Perth, so can't exactly borrow yours, but thanks anyway!
  13. I was thinking that at first, but when I plugged her in it says otherwise. I've had a multimeter on the sender wires and resistance changes with temp, so that's all good. I've tried opening it, there is two cap screws on the back, but she won't budge
