@SargeRX8 what was the outcome of this? i have exactly the same sound coming from my gearbox and have been told its either the centre diff, transfer gear bearings or centre diff bearing. im guessing it would be worth replacing all of the above but im curious if the bearing you installed got rid of the sound. vid below of mine, happens around the same speeds as the vid you posted.

hi i have for sale a set of 18" super advan wheels with near new tires fronts - 18" x 8.5" - tires - 235 x 40 x 18 (front right is brand new, front left is around 75 - 80% tread) rears - 18" x 9.5" - tires - 265 x 35 x 18 (only done 3000k's on them - 75 - 80% tread left) i have the original centre spanner and wheel nuts aswell asking $1200 ono call or text mitch on 0424 143 184, or pm me here located in budgewoi NSW (central coast) can deliver to sydney or newcastle, or can arrange postage to any other state if need be. and here's a few pics PLEASE NOTE: these are off a 300zx but should fit a skyline pretty well and clear the calipers, unsure of the offset tho. front right (still have the original spanner for undoing the centers as you can see) front left front tread right rear left rear rear tread and a couple on the car cheers mitch ps. any offer considered, as i need these gone.

Year: 1990 Body (2+2): 2+2 Colour: black Engine (Turbo/NA): turbo Transmission (MT/AT): manual Interior (Cloth/Leather): cloth/recaro seats Odometer: 112000~ Price: $5500 Contact Details: mob 0424143184, or email me at [email protected] Location central coast NSW hi everyone, for sale is my 1990 300zx, i bought it a few months ago hoping for a weekend cruiser but seems to have turned into a bit of a project car which i simply dont have the time for due to work commitments, which sucks as this thing has a lot of potential Good points the car is pretty straight except for 1 or 2 shopping centre bumps has a new fuel filter fitted, interior is in excellent condition. car has been servieced recently, including spark plugs etc. new drift style steering wheel and boss kit (may keep will decide upon sale) new dash headlight/cruise control assembly (not installed yet) new tie rod ends (yet to be installed) new drive shaft centre bearing (yet to be installed) new gas struts for rear hatch (yet to be installed) Bad Points upon giving the car a service i have found that piston 6's spark plug was covered in oil, and number 4 had some fine metal shavings, it is blowing a bit of smoke, but the engine still runs fine and isn't burning any oil, as i said before i dont have the time to find out what is wrong with it. engine still feels strong and healthy, and revs to red line with no hassle's. there is a slight vibration in the rear end, hence the reason i have bought the new centre bearing for the drive shaft and new tie rod ends, as far as i can tell these will get rid of the vibration, still trying to find the time to install them, hopefully its done by the time someone comes and takes a look. thats all i can think of for now, best off coming and having a look, what you see is what you get. im being completely honest here, the car does need some work, just trying to get some money back, I was kept in the dark when I bought the car so yeh, don?t want that happening to someone else. refer to this thread if you like probly has a bit more info on the car than what ive put up here any way here's a couple of pics if anyone needs any more info just ask me or send me a msg, i am open to offers but please dont low ball cheers mitch

i cant understand why people do that, seriously the cop has already pulled someone over they're not going to pull out and chase you if your 5k over the speed limit, even when people are doing the speed limit some tard still sees the need to slow down, and it always seems to be the guy in the fast lane that decides to do this makes me want to smack them in the back of the head as im driving past, would need a passanger for that tho lol

spotted R33 thats pink on the top then changes to purple on the bottom with big chrome rims yesterday arvo going up and down warrigal street at the entrance, anyone on here own it? i kept running to the window to see what it was everytime it passed my appartment lol, finaly got a glimps the third time it went past. looks nice, sounds good too

hey all, this is kind of a continuation from one of my old threads dip stick blowing out, basicly my car has been blowing a white/ slightly blue smoke out the exhaust when i accelerate after being off the throttle. and sometimes when i first take off at a set of lights and im not sure why this is happening. to me it seems like the piston rings are stuffed and oil is building up in the combustion chamber while the car is idling or after coasting in gear then being burnt and pouring out the exhaust when i accelerate again, but then ive been reading on here that it might be the turbo oil seals, whats the best way to find out whats wrong? my car is coming up to almost 200,000 k's so thats why im leaning towards the pison rings being stuffed, ill get a compression test sometime this week to confirm this otherwise if you guys have any ideas please throw them up, btw car is an R33 gtst pretty much stock, turbo is stock aslo, i have a bleed valve to control the boost also and theres a heap of oil comng out of that too cheers
