  1. Did it win? It looked like the he still had his foot Hard up it and the GTR flew past like it was standing still?? Im confused
  2. I saw a sweet custom shield some dude on here made out of a stainless steel cooking pot I know thats no help.. but anythings possible with an idea
  3. Why PM? Share the love! (unless there is only one "solution" availabe.)
  4. Was it cold? When the air is cold you get alot of white smoke when yo 1st start cars up.
  5. What kind of Kakimoto? I looked at Nengun and the R32 and R33 GTR have different part number, so i would assume they arent interchangeable.
  6. Your actually better off having the car level when bleeding the system, but whatever works.
  7. Some R33 GTR/GTSt are interchangeable. Im pretty confident the Trust PEII can fit both, but the HKS Hi Power cant. :s
  8. My R33 takes a good while to come up to temp at the moment too. Its pretty cold in NZ at the moment. Am yet to make up a cold weather shield for my oil cooler too. It cant be helping the situation much.
  9. Are you using the actuator that came with the turbo? They arent the greatest, quite soft and creep open a bit, that's probably causing the slow boost. I got one for a mate for his 3076 from USA, 14psi spring. The overall size was larger, and it was tight as buggery compared to the "stock" actuator. (when doing the old "pull on this" trick) PM "Lithium" and ask him a question or two. Hes tried a few different approaches to the spool issues.
  10. Maybe Adrenalines are more expensive in aussie? 2x 255/40/17 2x 235/45/17 Fitted balanced, and a wheel alignment for $900NZD (bout $730AUD), thought that was pretty decent?
  11. How much are the KU36's worth? And arent they a semi-slick?
  12. I use Adrenalin's in 255 on my R33, they are pretty nice, and can hold the road in the wet too I guess it depends how much you want to spend.
  13. Ahh i misread it, when you said PASTE. I only tried that red CRC sticky rubbish that did diddly squat
  14. This seems the most logical to me. Pissing around modding a stock rubber tube.. or buy an off the shelf replacement..
  15. He didnt go into it. Maybe one of the earth wires was broken or something.
  16. Because where the bottom radiator hose exits the block, it isnt the lowest part of the cooling system INSIDE the block. So once the water level has drained off to the level of the bottom hose, the water below it sitting in the block just sits there. Hence the block having its own drain plug. Here is a Michelangelo jig of what i mean.... biggest lolpaint ever but you get it.. And just incase its reall unclear.. its an asshat cross section of one cylinder
  17. Iv used an Apexi. Seems to work fine. I wouldnt use the KnN due to their oiling, but each to their own.
  18. Atmo BOV brah. Dats wheer itz at Im going for a link G4. Just because Power FC's for RB25's are impossible to come by in NZ for a good price. Added bonus of being able to run a decent sounding BOV as apposed to the wheezing the stock one makes
  19. Thats one of the biggest failures out there
  20. Very common problem for the RB25 then Glad its fixed. I was as happy as a goat on the other side of the bridge when mine went away.
  21. Cross the Trust off the list. It exits sideways, and although its quiet cruising, its louder then an HKS Hi Power at full noise.
  22. Another thumbs up! Just scrub away, dont blast it too hard at electrics, but itl be ok. Take it for a nice long drive to dry it all out.
  23. You shouldnt really stop, they tell you to not come to a complete stop haha
