  1. yeah its a 300zx starter and os giken flywheel, it misses every now and then though.
  2. I started paying him ages ago, when he lets me at least.
  3. Adr compliant fibreglass bonnet, this one shouldn't crack and rust on welds after getting it resprayed twice and rust repaired once in a five year period. Got it from blitz body kits they were very helpfull. Heaver than expected though guess that why its adr approved.
  4. This the spec sheet for them. The standard ones are quite small according Ivan tighe Cams.
  5. long time no see, but it seems I've finally gotten my arse into gear with a set of custom billet ivan tighe cams for the VH45. Should be installed sometime in the new year.
  6. one of the new injectors was dead, not happy but at least it was number one cylinder and can be removed with out taking off anything else. We put one of the old injectors in instead, luckily it seems we managed to find one that's not miss firing. ordered two more to be safe.
  7. yesterday and today we started doing some over due maintenance on the vh45, new injectors and replacing the leaking rocker cover gaskets. the old injectors were so old they gone white, this should make it run smooth as silk. new injectors, nissan wanted upwards of $400 each for them i managed to buy them on ebay for $400 total from america
  8. mines non abs but i run a t-piece on the rear port for both sides. does the job
  9. got the old r32 brake master cylinder replaced today, swapped with a brembo spec r33 gtr master. top one is the old r32 spec 15/16 bore and the bottom is the installed brembo r33 bm57 1-1/16 bore. pretty much instant braking response now, just have to worry about the daydreaming idiots behind me now. (well...more so)
  10. yeah, it seems everything gtr was made for a 180sx upgrade. since the brake and driveline upgrade, i've bought a second engine that had water in one of the bores to make the cams with. i since spoken to kelford cams in nz who where more helpful than camtech. kelford said they would test the cams for defects and then make a decision of how much they can grind them and to what duration. where camtech said they don't do that and i must tell them how to grind. i'm also going to use the second engine to test engine internals from other cars to see sr20 rods fit and that the arp rod bolts and head studs fit and if sr20 cam cap bolts.
  11. hi, looking for a place that can repair a custom made bonnet that keeps rusting and bubbling in the same area. it been completely repainted twice so far in sydney and i want it done for good this time. i live in Redbank. any help is mush appreciated.
  12. as i own a 180sx i originally was on nissansilvia.com for a while but they had a reputation for getting in to trouble at events and cruises, this the main reason I'm apart of SAU. the first meet i went to with nissanslivia was at the P4 carpark at homebush, i parked down the road and walked in. i was there five minutes before the cops blocked off all the exits.
  13. i rang camtech in Sydney they told they are willing to to a regrind for me, i just have to send a set of cams down to them so they can see what sort profile they can do. now i just have find a second engine.
  14. yeah it's different, the old one was a standard viscous 4.11 hooked really differently, it's very immediate now. considering i used to drive it around with a tomei t-trax 2-way, but engineer wouldn't go near it with that diff still in it. lol forgot what real diffs feel like. the wheels didn't fit a few years ago but since the tein super streets have gone in they clear the strut.
  15. update... since my relocation to Queensland we (by we I mean GTRsean) achieved quite a bit: R34 gtr Brembo brakes front and back which needed R33 gst-t hand brake cables R32 Diff and axles R34 grt wheels Modified a nismo power brace to clear the VH45 and apparently 2nd place in the member championship thanks heaps eric, was very unexpected.
