I also say you should buy non-modded. Then at least you can do what you want when you want (and make sure it's done properly!) That was my intention.. though I fell into the trap of buying it and leaving it as it was since I bought it!!

Yeah normally takes a min - open garage, start car, back car out, close garage, then driven under 3k RPM until its up to temp before it gets positive boost. It's silly, a waste of petrol, and can even be worse for your car, if you let it sitting there idling for 5+min etc.

Used to be daily, until I started working in the city, then started using public transport... and then I started working in Syd mon-fri... so it only gets used on the weekends that I come back to Melb!

If you have full comp insurance then don't get worried about where you park it, or then are you also worried about where you drive it? You might as well leave it locked up in a shipping container and not drive it at all. Insurance means you don't need to worry about stuff like this.
