  1. Even if someone can grab a clear photo showing the back of connector and wire position 👍
  2. Hi guys, currently wiring a RB30/25 into an R31. My question relates to the wiring at the TPS, wire colour from harness to TPS, which is 5v supply, earth return, signal, from the red, white, blue wires coming from the sensor? I have diagrams showing the harness side however I don’t have a factory connector on the sensor to reference pin position
  3. Yep sounds like gearbox input shaft bearing, Unfortunately its a common problem in the skyline boxes. Best way to diagnose is park car in shed/ garage, start car, gearbox in neautral and listen for Grumbling bearing noise (sometimes whirring) Then press the clutch pedal in. If noise goes away it indicates the Input shaft bearing in the gearbox, if Noise still there its the throw-out bearing of the clutch. Hope this helps, Have found redline Shockproof oil works wonders in these boxes to. Should change gearbox oil at least every 40 000km.
  4. URGENTLY NEED a RB20DET maual ECU for R32. Cheers. PM me with replies
  5. Try one of these they at otomoto.com, same turbos as used in ZOOM and HPI Magazine and in the GENTT KITS. DAMN thats an awsome price for a new turbo. Im in the process of gettng one for my ECR33, just gotta get an RB20DET manual ECU+nistune daughter board=realtime programable management. So if you know ayone with an ecu?? Sorry bit off topic there! cheers, Hope this helps KKR480 Big power potential at a baragin price Oil-cooled, 0.84 turbine housing suits T3 size flange Internal wastegate with 8psi actuator Suitable for single-turbo applications on 2.5-4.0 litre engines, or in twin turbo kits on 5.0 to 7.0 litre engines Comes with 71mm V-band section and V-band for dump pipe, T3 exhaust gasket, oil inlet banjo bolt and oil return gasket. 6. best way to check if its running rich is to put it on a dyno and check A/F ratios, Best way to have the injectors cleaned is to have them removed from the fuel rail and ultrasonicly cleaned and flow tested. This can be a pain though not only to remove them from the engine but to get them out of the fuel rail as the sealing 'o'-rings have a habbit of growing. One thing you didnt mention was your driving conditions Town/highway, stop start at traffic lights etc. I have ECR33 FMIC HKS pod 3" exhaust increased boost, get on average 400km to a tank. If you have never had your injectors ultrasonicly cleaned might be a good place to start. Check performance shos / workshop in your area to see who has the gear, But make sure you ask them if they have the equipment to flow test your side feed injectors as some places dont. Anotherthing to check would be the catalytic converter, when the car is complianced this is replaced usually with the cheapest one available, they usually dont flow to well and the honeycomb inside collapses and restricts flow even more, robbing you of power and making you put your foot down further on the throttle using more fuel. hope this helps.
  7. Have a look KKR turbos otomoto.com i think. They are plain bearing type but a great quality unit. KKR580.Only abut $900 brand new. Also with the pistons, Suggest maybe you look at Hypereutectic, they are a good strong piston and i have had them in turbo cars exceeding 330rwkw without fault. I would definately be looking at NA pistons for the rb30/25 engine though to keep compression up for better down low response. Also another inexpensive way of treating engine components is CRYOGENICS, Helps to stabalise the molecules of the component, I believe most V8 Supercar engine builders use this technique, only costs about $10-15 per kg last time i checked. Hope some of this helps
