  1. Hi guys, it's been a while since I visited these parts. It's time I started looking at bringing my R32 GTR back to its former glory. I'd like recommendations for workshops we can trust and who provide good work. Mepbourne. What sort of budget should I set aside? Thanks.
  2. I've had several people contact but none have come to collect yet, so it's still up for grabs...
  3. Stock rack (I assume!) removed when I put a lock bar in years ago. Asking $30 Location Balwyn/Kew
  4. Stock standard swaybars removed from my R32 GTR when I upgraded. Been stored in a box since. Asking $50 Location Balwyn/Kew
  5. I removed the exhaust from my R32 GTR several years ago and have had it stored in bubble wrap as the photo shows. It's a full stainless steel cat-back exhaust made by RS*R in Japan. I'm not sure of full specs as it was fitted to the car when I purchased it. It is apparently an Invidia 3-3.5" system. Asking $200 Location Balwyn/Kew
  6. Leather Nardi Classic including horn button 330mm diameter Taken off my R32 GTR $220. Can ship at buyer's expense. Location: Kew, Vic.
  7. I'm amazed it's not sold too - I'm trying to find one! It's turning out to be a little harder than I originally thought.
  8. Thanks abu, I've e-mailed nengun to find out if it's appropriate. If so, you've got yourself a buyer Dush.
  9. If that controller fits mine, I'll take it off your hands for the $250. My PFC is for R32 GTR, and is PFC 9711-0022, apparently the model is 414-N011. I couldn't work out from the FAQ whether it'll work...
  10. Strange - it was fine when I next fired up the car and has been fine since. Thanks anyway people.

    R32 Clock

    Bloody thing still doesn't work.
  12. Mine's never worked and was led to believe that it was a common occurence. I started the thread linked to above (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3723), but nothing ever came of that thread I would love to have a clock in the car; I'm getting sick of looking at my mobile for the time...
  13. Hi guys, I've had a grating/whining coming from the engine bay that I thought was related to my power steering pump. I've basically sealed the hoses running to/from the p/s pump after installing a HICAS lock bar and figured the rear rotor of the pump had finally given up the ghost. After being reassured that driving with it like that wouldn't cause damage, I set about getting all the gear ready for repair - new pump, bypass hose etc. Anyway, I digress. On the weekend I made a short trip to a local pub for a mate's birthday and when I arrived, there was terrible shrieking and the smell of burning rubber. I figured the pump had seized and was prepared to cut the belt off. When I checked under the bonnet, that belt was fine and it was in fact the air conditioning compressor/idler belt that was red hot. I had the car towed home... Today I cut off the belt and founf the idler bearing couldn't be turned by hand. I started the car to see if the problem was solved and the noise was gone, but when I revved the engine beyond idle it hesitated first. Why? What else could be going on here? Cheers, Nick
  14. What's happened to the pics? I'm in need of a respray myself and it sounds like Mick might be the man to see.
  15. I think this might have finally happened... now getting a grating sound kind of like honing metal on a lathe or drilling stainless. Time for a replacement and bypass loop hose.
  16. Rianto, they actually arrived yesterday. Thanks man. Interestingly, the attached invoice was for the RRP as I paid significantly less than stated. I wonder if their bookwork will balance!
  17. www.lookee.com.au doesn't work.
  18. How easy is it to fit these kits?
  19. Nada here, and ALWAYS had to ask for the scratchie.
  20. If it were me, I'd ask for all monies to be returned and change importers. Don't settle for some car this shonk choses, chose your own. He was neglligent in his duty of care and therefore the sole responsibility lies with him. If you need to pursue this legally, you will be guaranteed of a win.
  21. You're not interested in selling the ABS pump and lines by any chance are you?
