  1. Is the 6470 a class turbo I havnt looked yet.. Would have big exducer if it is..
  2. Plenty of room in the market if the price is right, nothing wrong with a f**kin rb30 crank ffs.. The stupid things always split bores first All it will do is take up the rd blocks space and be a better option..
  3. Out of interest on topic.. Off topic Tao/hypergear can build a g35-1050 comp wheel turbo with a cut down gt42 turbine to 70mm in a bb housing for a pretty good price Be cool to try seeing as its a more appropriatly sized turbine
  4. Yep lith Ill stick with 6870 for now Whats coming out later in the year?
  5. We all wish... You cant beat physics.. Especially when they are all the same design... 😂 Just adding the turbine from 70 to 75mm id expect it to be 500rpm lazier let alone bunging on a 8mm bigger comp wheel
  6. I have same setup behind a glide Im putting motor in tomoz I had turbo on a mates sohc rb30...it was epic.. Torquey as
  7. Mines grout filled to the welsch They actually always split at the top of the bore making big power.. Which is why herman was experimenting with trying to fill top half instead..
  8. Do they actually sleeve rd's I thought once they do they it affects head clamping again?
  9. A ex friend of mine had a 6466 t3 1.06 on his sohc rb30 manual From memory it did 600rwkw on kill on 40psi on tookys dyno
  10. Rb r33 head... Stock Rb30 bottom end 256 poncams ... 36psi through a auto trans and slippery converter 6870 ..1.00 housing Enough for a high 8sec pass No fancy head or donkey dick cams required..
  11. I only just seen these yesterday.. Seems to cheap insurance as its only $60 ish posted ,so i grabbed one Motion raceworks are the only other supplier i can see doing them with a bevelled edge to hold/flow more leaving the core and a o ring .. But they want more $$ to
  12. Yeh that one that jez tuned? That prp put up fb page looks like fun. I actually blame it on motive dvd videos and coota.. I actually call it the "hawkins effect" now... Im old and have f**ked up heaps of cars going to large in turbos over last 20+yrs.. Heaps of my mates are late. 20s etc I try steer them towards keeping vct at alll times'/using long runner intakes if they can.. And midframe turbos on kill for most torque... But no... Everyone want short runner intakes, donkey dick 300 degree cams and 76mm+ turbos... To much motive dvd.. Fine on the runway... From a 60 to 160km roll... No.. Get slaughtered by midframe..but you cant tell them.. Let alone you need a sequential box.. Unless you shift a h pattern so hard you leave the seat everytime to keep it on the boil... And that breaks shit.. 😂
  13. Dont know They all have there place.. The 6466 is still the best allrounder.. Its a epic little turbo. Slower everywhere else could depend on style of circuit you use?.. Comp, camshaft/transmission type even tyres used for corner exit. So could be merit in it.. But apart from efr the 6466 is hard to top
  14. Actually someone did a .84 on a 2jz not long ago and it still seemed to make samish power Think golebys supplied all the parts
  15. And you dont even need the 1.15.. Even in a 3.0 they are all in compressor wise on a 1.00
  16. Theres a world of difference between a 6870 and a 7675... As soon as you step up to the 75mm turbine its a lot lot lazier.. So i can understand if you said 7175 vs 7675. The 70mm turbine is still responsive like the 66mm turbine 7175 is where you start to get lazy
  17. I actually ran the australian agent about a xona 9569 not long a go as a upgrade to a 6870 on a rb25/30 neo He said keep the precision and just add a bit of gas as the xona be lucky to make more on a rb30 He said the precisions they sell are more reliable than the xonas.. Stated they where very hit and miss in reliability...he basically sold himself put of a $4500 deal as i would of pulled the trigger if he said otherwise
  18. 7685 over the g42 1450..people seem to be having back. Pressure issues with them, they definitly like the big housings. Was talking to a mate that did a 3.2 the other day..backpressure was threw roof with g42 1450 No dollar spared thing.. Sequential.. Bullet billet block.. Motec m150.. Switched to 7685 and spooled faster and made heaps more power with no more backpressure issues Know another guy with a 30/26 tried 1450, went 1.00/1.15 before using 1.28because same deal
  19. People have made 1000hp at the crank on stock heads with camshafts and springs..its not hard with any turbo 76mm or bigger
  20. Ask tao...looks like he is using all same housings etc now...
  21. I can tell you what will happen..they will be the same..they would be made by kts...the biggest makers of billet wheels in the whole world..most places get there stuff made there..a lot claim as there own..Its piss easy to make a comp wheel exactly the same..its not even expensive..they are like $120 a piece(or where) if you buy one with a kts trade account Thats all they do..kinga/mamba they are all kts to Sorry guys..but these turbos are the shit.....china has stepped it up on a new level Maybe the only complaint will be the bearing system is not up to scratch with the german etc stuff..but for most people..they wont do that many kms anyway...failing that..you can buy these turbos with aus built quality cartridges already...expect to pay another $1000..still cheap..a g42 for $2500...
  22. Yep you could always get the ss version of the atr45sat aswell Think that comp wheel flows around the mid 400 mark
