Im going to make a hi/low switch set up for my profec b II. I want to know what aftermarket switches fit the location of the switch in the photo in nigels thread as i have no switches here on my car just the blanks. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...l&hl=switch

  10. Hi all, Last weeek Ben was over plugging in datascan to my car to chase a cold start issue. While he was over he pointed out my front rotors are up for replacement... Whats the best way to tell? Their is a lip on them but ive seen larger on other cars. Whats the minimum wear thickness for the front and rear rotors on a series 1 rs4v? They dont pullsate at all when coming to a stop. Ill be replacing the fronts with 32 gtst slotted's as i hear their a direct bolt on and then the rears im unsure of. Cheers guys.
  11. This is true... Nice bonnets up photo, just waiting for the boys in blue to come ticket u all?
  12. I ran 12psi on stock zhorts with a fmic for a while and its fine.
  13. maybe ive given you the bug, as my first start this morning was slow but it recovered
  14. must thank Ben massively to coming over and plugging into my stag today with datascan. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary which is good, but we couldnt find the cause 'cos of this. Might give the two vavles a clean in the not to distant future to see if it clears up. Its not going to be cold for much longer anyway so I might just wait. Once again thanks Ben, was good to put another face to a user name
  15. Firstly your going to need the supportive mods for any real power gain: 3 Inch front & dump pipe High Flow/Gutted cat 3" Cat Back Better filter element or BOXED pod with a cold air feed Spiltife Coils ( if yours a showing any sign of leaking spark) FMIC Boost Controller set to 12psi Fuel pump depending on how much your power your chasing. Then your going to need to sort out some kind of engine management to tidy the tune and make the car work with 12psi (you will probably find it will R&R on stock computer) here are some options: Nisstune Chip Toshi remap SAFC and SITC Combo Emanage ect ect.. As you've got an s2 Id probably be leaning towards the nisstune chip. All this on a good tune done properly should get you pretty close to 200ish at the rears on a NEO engine
  16. ok so theirs no real point cleaning the back valve as its idling sweet once its going..... Ryan when are you going to hunt it down on your car? what shall i do
  17. Dude this is confusing me even more! Help ryan or kiwi!
  18. Ok, So i need to clean this : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...l&hl=idling (AAC Valve) And this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ai...nce-t69151.html (Air Regulator) Ryan, You talk of one being under the plenum and it being a Kent to get to.... which one is that? by the looks of those two it doesnt seem like either of them?
  19. Im running Lucas Premiums on the front. ABS had them in stock :S DB 1398 springs to mind for some reason for the front axle pair.... I need to look at the box to tell you but im 99% sure they run the same as a certain aus delivered nissan on the front... (think it was a maxima)
  20. Yeah im confused now.... Not sure what valves im meant to be cleaning tomorrow and where they are? Yeah sat sounds good ben Im busy in late arvo but thats it.
  21. Im with josh, Wouldnt use the stock gauge to tune your boost. If you dont want to run a gauge all the time just put one in for a day or two to tune ur boost T then ditch it. Dont just chuck it in and tune it and pull it out check it over the course of a few days or so to ensure your not getting any unhealthy spikes ect...
  22. number one this is the stag section dude. But yes their is only one 02 Sensor, their is however a sensor in your cat but it is exhaust gas temperature
  23. ryan where is this valve thats in a prick of a position you speak of? Is it even worth me doing the other one if it did nothing for you?
