  1. Price dropped and is firm.
  2. Rick - they cut the globe assemblies right inside the headlight. It is not generally possible to repair and fit HID globes. You would need to open the headlight, repair the fitting and replace the globes. The headlights are not easily opened and would require a lot of time and effort putting them in the oven and softening the glue until you could prise the fronts off. Then regluing when done. High probability of breaking or melting something. It is also very unusual in a case like that that they've left the ballasts. It is more likely that they've removed them for destruction. My own car had this done and I found it was easier to source entire new headlights - which I did - and swapped with my butchered headlights. Obviously you would need to spend some money on top for that to happen. Ring around compliance shops to ask if they'd be willing.
  3. Hows the missus liking it mate?
  4. That's probably Sushi-Ya chatswood.
  5. Tetsuya-san is Japanese yes but it's not technically a Japanese resteraunt. I would rule this out of the thread. Especially since to book a table today you'd be looking at Feb - March dinner........
  6. My top places are: Sushi Suma - Cleavland St Surry Hills Book ahead for this place because you'll know it from 3 blocks away by the queue waiting to get in every single night of the week. If you book ahead you wont necessarily get a table first but you go to the front of the line. The meals are cheap and large and the ingredients are fresh which are the main points I look for in a sushi place. Seating is tight and cramped but authentic Jap really. $30 - $45 for two people is a huge feed here. Masuya - O'connel St City Classy Jap restaurant without being overly expensive you've probably all been here. The best thing on the menu is the sashimi boat which I can finish myself but really could feed 4 with assorted other things. They take bookings in two sessions. Early starts 6pm ish and you must be OUT by 8.15pm. Late starts 8.30pm and goes all night so book the late session if you want to tackle a few Sapporo cans with your giant sashimi boat. Deserts here are awesome and somehow I once managed to get one of each on the house. Worth saving room for if you're into macha ice cream. oh yeah and the specialty is Shabu-Shabu if you're into that.
  7. Yeah worth 4-6k second hand. more than 10k new..... lucky buyer....
  8. You can get them regassed but its way overpriced. You'd probably be looking at something aftermarket and custom. Or try custom fitting some hatchback struts in instead as they are generally designed to hold more weight.
  9. Where is the crack on the bonnet? Can you get a picture of it or at least desribe the crack?
  10. Yes it is cheap. I need to sell it to pay child support to my three different baby mommas. what i meant to say was bump.
  11. Government IT jobs pay shit all.
  12. It's been done numerous times. There's a few threads. Look for a schematic/wiring diagram from a HK Skyline club website.
  13. Standard clutch? Mine looked ok when I pulled it out but i never did think they were good clutches. How many K's on it? Even if your clutch is fine I'd be upgrading. A nismo super coppermix twin plate is a superb clutch for the car. I've got one in mine as well as many friends with GTRs. As does the Nismo Z-tune (albeit the beefier one)...
  14. I've seen this in cheap chinese units on ebay but they're not really worth bothering with in my opinion.
  15. Twist the rear of the globe socket thing anti clockwise and pull it out. Need small hands really but it can be done. They are often really tight requiring much pain to twist. More pain again to get them back in and tight.
  16. What are they? Highflowed GTR turbos? No standard turbos with steel wheels. No such thing as "Vspec turbos"...
  17. I have for sale the following items: - Brand new in box crank angle sensor for RB26DETT (R34) More pics click here Price: $400 - Front bar driving light inserts These factory option front bar inserts replace the existing inserts to allow for factory option driving lights but you can obviously fit many aftermarket driving lights in the holes. These are an OEM part. More pics click here Price: $100
  18. Nismo fuel pump all the way. Direct fit no modifications. I dont care about the price difference.
  19. I've used Jack Hillermans in Artarmon on the GTR. The job was good.
  20. I'll decide to go at the last possible moment.
  21. GTR rear pods are chunky. Standard GTS-t rear pods are quite understated. I dont know how hard it would be to get the GTR pods to fit up to a GTSt but itd be worth investigating. Maybe it's been done before and carmate sell them off the shelf. The pic Secur1ty linked from Carmate has GTR rear pods shown on it. These were originally OEM parts that Carmate probably copied somewhere along the line. OEM ones are pricey but copies are probably cheap.
