  1. Try Carl Ronning, 0418 215 504. He runs a business importing V35's and has worked out the details of doing conversions on the screen.
  2. Haha I was gonna call you out too! Standard series 2 That chick reminds me of Liz for some reason.. maybe its because she taller than all the boys....
  3. Apparantly my car wasn't at oran park. Noone seems to have any photo's of it at all. Not even power play
  4. The sticker adds that little extra weight to the rear end helping you put more traction down and enhancing corner exit speed.
  5. Sorry to hear mate. If you get it back - buy an alarm. Get some form of insurance and learn the lesson. To everyone else who doesn't need an alarm and insurance because their circumstances are special or different, you're dreaming and your car will get stolen like this poor guy's.
  6. This thread is 4 years old
  7. I like chatswood area too but screw buying here. $800,000 for a cottage... I ended up buying a place in Marsfield which is two suburbs over from Chatswood. Not too far so you cant go there when you want but far enough so that the Chatswood traffic doesn't worry me as much. As well as house prices being $100 - $300k cheaper.
  8. Car's fine. I drove it home and it didnt skip a beat. Basically an intake pipe leak caused all the drama. Couple that with some oil in the intake (no catch can) causing a small amount of oil to be sprayed out under boost. Not too much though just enough to cause a bit of smoke and scare the shit out of me. Now that's happened though I'm completely prepping the car so nothing like that can happen again. I stress that GTR's are not money pits though...
  9. I ended up with a 1.31, I would've liked to get into the high 1.20's but it just took so long for me to figure out some of those corners. I had fun though. Yeah I saw him. I could not really believe that what looked to be a standard pulsar was keeping up with me in the corners. He is obviously better driver than me! I lost sight of him when I got to the straight though I guess he must've pitted. Nice driving whoever that was.
  10. Holy shit. This is exactly what I was going to type when I saw this post. Damn you!
  11. That was fun to watch from behind. I was coming around to pass you both but saw you make a move so I backed off. Great race. That was one of the best parts of the day for me when the three of us kept it tight for those few laps... Yeah an oil cooler and an oil temp guage is a must if you plan on doing more track days. Mine only nudged 100 degrees when I was thrashing it silly. Sat on 90 degrees for most of the sessions...
  12. Ah - Thanks for that Jo... Yeah in hindsight we shoulda been thinking more but I still had loads of fun. Great day and thanks for putting it together. Best trackday i've been to yet!
  13. Haha sorry about that being in grp 4 thing. It was totally our fault, me and Blitz requested to go in the same group and Joanne must have rearranged the groups the only way possible. Putting us in group 4... Then Blitz didn't come... So i was there by myself... I think in a different group I wouldve had less holdups but ultimately I'm a noob so my time's would've still been pretty crap. Next time I'll know better...
  14. Was a good day. First for me on GP circuit and I improved every lap. I just have one annoyance, too many cars on the track and people not thinking about how their actions or inactions affect other people. Putting around at 70k's an hour is fine for session 1 but when we're waiting 45minutes + for the next session I dont want to be stuck behind some guy out for a sunday drive around the back section... Liz you did an awesome time in that car well done.
  15. Powerplay could probably set this up for you. Tosh and Jo are on the forums. Contact www.powerplayimports.com.au or Tosh.
  16. Ouch...
  17. I bought a set off the eBay seller (Nate tune). They are genuine items. That's what they cost. You are unlikely to import a set yourself that cheap as he buys them and ships them in a container. Unfortunately Nismo don't make GTS-t mats anymore, the GTR mats fit up fine except for the driver's one which has a missing spot where the transfer case bulge should be. Still good though.
  18. I'm just spewing they sold out. I had just finished saving up my $300k and went to buy it off nismo.com put it in my shopping cart and bam! SOLD OUT!
  19. Your car doesn't have spark plugs. It uses glow plugs. Don't forget to put diesel in not premium. Lot's of people make that mistake.
  20. Yeah it's a good car for a young driver (L's or P's). Very light clutch so it's very easy to drive every day. Zippy little thing in traffic. Thanks for the bump!
  21. Bump! Price dropped to $3000... got to go now!!!! Make an offer.
  22. I run 265's on a 10 inch rim and they look stretched....
  23. Bump - I've added photos! Now need to sell these ASAP. Make an offer!!!!
