  1. Wheels SOLD. RE01 tyres still for sale. Item:R34 GT-R standard 18x9 wheels and tyres with a spare set of tyres Location:Sydney Item Condition:Good condition, gutter marks on two wheels easily fixed Reason for Selling:I have new wheels, want cash for turbo upgrade Price and Payment Conditions:$2500 or $3000 with extra tyres Extra Info: These wheels are the standard Nissan forged lightweight 18x9 inch wheels from my R34 GTR. These are ideal for a R32 or R33 GTR and fit both. They are lightweight and strong and look great. These wheels will physically fit an R33 GTS-t you may get some rubbing on full lock but i cant say for sure. They do not overhang. They come fitted with Nankang tyres with 80% tread. The tyres are standard size of 245/40R18 all round. The tyres grip fine on a GTR and i never had a problem with them. I did maybe 3000km on them. I also have a set of almost new 4 x Bridgestone RE01 tyres in 245/40R18 which i can supply for an extra $500. These still have the rubber nipples on them but have done about 50 - 100kms max. These are the standard R34-GTR tyre size. Basically this is wheels and tyres for your car to last a very long time and you will be very happy with the look. I will consider selling the RE01 tyres seperately for $800. Contact Details:Email [email protected] Would consider part trade for parts such as: - Tomei/SARD/HKS twin feed fuel rai and or regulator etc for RB26 - PowerFC hand controller for GTR - Trust or similar radiator (PWR or other local brand ok too) or many other things for RB26/R34 GTR so PM me and lets make a deal.
  2. When can I get my eyelids :D
  3. When you got the twin turbo pipe off did you need to come in from underneath the car to undo those bolts or are the nuts welded onto the other side? I need to replace my twin turbo pipe with a polished one and dont want to stuff around too much.
  4. That looks great Geoff. Looks exactly like mine colour wise. I saw Blitz's Millenium Jade rocker covers though so i'm considering ditching the factory red soon!
  5. Why must they bother with this Infiniti branding bullshit. Sounds like excuses to me they already have a perfectly competent Nissan dealership network which they could sell the cars from using the Nissan Skyline badge.
  6. Holy crap yes im in ive been after a set for ages. I dont care what the price is. Thread subscribed!
  7. To be fair many "performance" cars manufactured today still come with two pistons in the front and 1 in the rear. The XR6t has this configuration i believe. With rotors not too much bigger than the gtst... Makes you think.
  8. hehe I believe you would have to have some kind of hookup to get one of those, I think there is only 30 made at the moment and they only seem to go into big HP GTRs from the big name workshops in Japan. Hope they go into full production one day but who knows.
  9. Congrats and welcome. Post some pics you'll find your very welcome here.
  10. Lets see some pics of the car with the new wheels on it Rick
  11. Bump - who's making the booking?
  12. Top gear is on BBC World on foxtel but at random times. It's also a heavily cut down version of the one the BBC shows in the UK. I watch Top Gear by downloading the full length episodes from usenet.
  13. Funny - Im currently downloading and watching Top Gear episodes from 1989 and 1990. Im hoping ill run across a 1989 episode where they review the R32 GTR...
  14. Im pretty sure Charles from JDM imports could get them. See the business for sale forum.
  15. I suggest strapping on a set of snow chains as well to complete the look! Sorry mate couldnt resist.
  16. I kinda feel sorry for him having to sell the boring products like that. A new wingroad - um... yay. That RX8 ripoff concept is a bit limp too. Thanks for the video though very good to see.
  17. oh and neither of them are race vids. they just drive fast through empty streets and take turns being the lead wanker.
  18. I watched both of these and want my 50 minutes back. Most worthless Getaways yet. They arent getting away from anything and the driving is yawntastic. The only good part is when the viper bottoms out in a ditch and I was secretely hoping it would write itself off.
  19. I imported my R34 GTR through a broker and am advising him from the experience I had as well as the general market in Australia at the moment. It's very difficult right now to sell an R33 GTR privately for a top price - its a buyers market as they say. Therefore buying an R33 GTR locally would be worth a look at least.
  20. Don't worry too much about it Links. All R33's do it when you run 10psi. The stock ECU is way too overprotective. It will do it on lower boost settings as well on cold nights. Put a GTT or front mount intercooler (justjap have some bargins in the Business for sale forums) and just ditch the stock ECU for a powerFC and you will get rid of all those hesitation/overboost/r&r problems and you can run 10psi safely full time.
  21. Usually if you are nice about it they will fix it up for you. I've had cars back to panel shops and when they realise their error they are quick to fix it up for you if they value your business. If you go back there and swear and cause a big fuss straight away theyre not going to want to help you. One full week also isn't really that much when you're asking for a cash job. To give you a cheap cash price they put your car at the low end of their priorities list. Some guys on the forums have had 4 - 6 week waits for paint. This is doubly evident since they didnt even realise the paint would require more work until Friday arvo. As for the driving around - thats kind of unecessary - but if they were having to move the car all week to on-street parking like a lot of busy paint shops do it couldve clocked up the 2k's just driving up and down the street they're on looking for free spots.
  22. Unless you really know what you're doing its worth shopping locally. There are a lot of GTT's over here now and the prices are pretty good. Some deals come up on the forums from time to time.
  23. Buy privately - there are always a few guys on the forums selling at any one time. You will also likely find a car that was owned by an enthusiast which was looked after the right way.
