  10. If this is a real police officer, im glad you felt compelled to post in this thread, but the cruises held by the original poster arent for illegal drag races / drifting or whatever. They are purely meet and greet type events followed by light driving. Go fight some real crime instead of terrorising import cars because of the stigma that some drivers give them.
  11. Had a phone call today saying that the $18,550 is in the mail, in two seperate cheques coz they already sent one before they reviewed his letter showing that he claimed responsability so i guess that is a plus. But they will definitely not pay me for rims and intercooler, the only thing they offer, is things that are insured like that only get replaced or paid for if they are stolen or the car isnt written off and they get repaired. Im in the process of looking through all my records to see that their agreed value is right, im almost certain its worth more than the added "$500" she told me over the phone. I agree some people should have their licences revoked!
  12. They did send me a premium adjustment form after i added rims and cooler that was +$200 something i had to pay, and im pretty sure we had an agreed value over $20,000 but now i have no idea what they are trying to play at. The cops on the scene filed a report saying that it was his fault and just cars were told the reference number and all that on the very next day coz i had to wait in hospital 6 hours to be cleared of injury. But yeah i dunno.
  13. Well, a couple of weeks ago i got cut off through an intersection and managed to do enough damage to the front end of my car to make it an economical write-off. Reading through their brochure they do not offer hire cars, luckily i have been able to get myself to work and back otherwise this would be a worse situation than it is. I paid $18,000 for the car almost a year ago, and also had extras insured : 18" rims and intercooler. Trouble is, on the phone they said they will give me a $16,500 payout in the mail (hopefully this week) until they can be sure its his fault, then pay me another $2,000 later in a seperate cheque (probably months away). But they didnt mention anything about the rims that also got chipped, and kept by them (worth atleast $1000, and insured for $1000, since i paid $1400) and the intercooler that was flat and also the piping is flat. Anyone have an idea how to tackle this without ringing them up angry and them pushing my case aside and leaving it longer? Being without a car sucks, but not as much as a nice car and the fact they just want to pay me the current market value. Being under 25 sucks, only one choice of insurer. Doesnt matter that i have/ had until now a flawless driving record since '04. Bah
  14. One of mine broke at 100 kp/h and it had marks in the paint under it (and on the opposite side). And they save water going into your window too. Better left on there i say
