in my opinion for 5000 youde have a better chance of getting your 300kws with the rb25 even then it wouldnt be reliable

i used ebay dumps on my gtr and i had to skim the flanges and die grind a lot in side them if it was a manifold defernetly dont buy as they crack all the time but dumps and front pipe wouldnt be to bad if your budget wasnt big enough for name brand stuff

Tim, under cams rules you can log book your car in any class eg - R32 is 2A - Closed Sports Car, what you must do is read entries / supp regs carefully - as to what class your car is eligible for and enter it!!
The log book class, is of no main concern it is the eligability of how you enter.
Hope that helps if you need any more info please do not hesitate to PM me.
yeah that makes sense thanks stuart

To put the GTR into rear wheel drive is simple.
My R33 Service Manual states:-
There are 2 Methods to change the drive mode to 2WD setting.
1. Remove air evacuation connector, and depress the brake pedal 5 times within 10 seconds after placingthe ignition switch to ON posititon. At the same time the 4WD warning lamp will flash in the meter panel (twice in a second) to indicate it's in 2WD mode. To return the the vehicle drive mode to 4WD mode, place the ignition switch to OFF position and connect air evacuation connector.
2. Remove front propeller shaft.
Can anybody confirm this works??
i can confirm that it works a treat used it on a dyno and for skids many times

i get between 480kms to 540kms of 58 to 60 liters out of my stock r33 gtr
-
i took my stock head to 9500rpm with t04z it handled it fine but stoped makeing power after 8500 rpm ide surgest valve springs and bronze guide
-
Since you are cutting the floor out the boot are you putting in a fuel cell or keeping the standard tank?
Keep up the good work.
ill be running a 40 ltr foam filled cell at this stage was going to go a 20 ltr one but i would only get 10 minutes out of my car before i would need refueling

great idea risking i cant wait to see all aspect of building a cage i think it will help me with mine just one question
what type of welder has to be used on a cage ive herd all different stories about what welder to use i would personally like to use a tig on mine thanks tim

this is just to good to pass why on earth would you want more power you should seriously look at suspention chassis tyres drivetrain work on getting good 60 foot times before concidering more hp
with the attitude you have the only car you should be driving is a little kids electric car before you kill your self or some one else something like this http://www.jacksons-camping.co.uk/kidstuff...mages/jd4x4.jpg
