  1. Yeah they are legal on the road. I think they run off some GPRS system and you need to update the information on the net of the location of speed cameras/red light cameras. However they will not detect mobile speed cameras. They actually don't detect speed cameras, just alerts you when you are near a fixed camera from the data that is supplied by the company. The unit also alert stuff like black spot area, school zones etc. Hopes that help and I think you also have to pay to subscription to updated data.
  2. Something similar happend to my g'friends car but the guy did a hit and run. Have you gone to the police yet to make a statement for accident, just incase if the guy tries to dispute it? Let your insurance company handle it I reckon. They probably make you pay the excess first and then you can claim it back if they recover the cost from the other guy.
  3. The powerful tool of internet hehe, can see the same car in two different country at the one time
  4. Full time uni, doing Multimedia at Swin. Part time Marketing Executive/Multimedia and part time waiter. Need another job to support the Skyline addiction.
  5. Cool! We are going to have a official club!! Can't wait for some merchadise. Can you still join if you can't make it down there on the day?
  6. Wouldn't be able to make it again guys. My car is out of action for a while , but would be great to still be involved in the club. Hopefully I wouldn't miss much, but keep us updated.
  7. Very NICE! Finally get to see the car in one piece. The paint job came out well Troy, good job mate. Love the carbon fibre tail lights covers. Don't tell me you did that yourself as well?!
  8. Well done guys! I think Snowman and Gerald have done SAU and all Skyline owners proud. Especially the one with the Porsche hehe love that photo Jamezilla. I wonder if next year's event will be swamped with Skylines! Hope they don't change the rules and kick us out again
  9. From what I know the NSX's engine is hand built from the factory. But don't know about the rest Either way depends on what you are after I reckon. NSX are less common and more exotic and the GTR is just HARDCORE and more EXOTIC hehe
  10. hehe yeah I think I will have a go at scraps first haha Where do you get new flanges from Troy?
  11. Woah ho! Looks like all the panels are on the car again! The piping is looking good, Troy. I'm thinking of doing my own front pipe as well hehe (don't know how bad it will turn out, but going to give it a go). Just a few questions, 1/. Where do you get the flanges from? or are you using the old flanges plate? Does it matter if the size is different from the flange and the pipe? (ie flange 2.5inch to 3inch pipe) 2/. Is there alot of chance of air leaking from the welded area? (i'm a beginner and ther is no ways I can do a as good welding job as you hehe) and does it matter if it does leak?
  12. I think this subject has been discussed before and the result was 1-BP, 2-Mobile and 3-Optimax. Someone did some test on the three different fuel and found that BP had the least additive and cleaner etc. I mainly pump BP Ultimate, as I found Optimax made my exhaust gas really smelly. But either way with the petrol price been so high at the moment, I might have to start pumping water
  13. I vote block cat! Maybe blocked it with your turbine hehe j/k
  14. Those pics looks sweet! So was there only 2 Skylines used? What was the story line anyway? Or is that a secret till the commercial is actually aired?
  15. How did the shoot go? You reckon he might post up some shots from the shoots? Did the Skylines end up beating up the V8 guy hehe?
