  2. I'm shit so yeah you can skip this video but my times were getting better every couple laps http://youtu.be/1iJP9XUrF6U HKS26T behind the wheel of my car http://youtu.be/X9ugzV-oaVQ
  3. Had fun who has videos and pics?
  4. what he said + 1
  5. if there is a spot available me and HKS26T will enter in my 31, if there is a spot ill chuck the kaaz in tonight (btw this will be my first actual track day so if i spin out or anything please edit it out of any videos )
  6. Go to page 2 of this thread Sydkid done a table for the right restrictors
  7. R33 4 piston brakes, look up garage 7 for the floating hub and dog bone adapters angry on the 31 club does a coil over set up for the 31 other options are s13 conversion
  8. Big thanks to fatz now to get new bushes so i can chuck the diff and them in over Easter long weekend
  9. That was me with the no restrictors in stock, but my 26/30 is non turbo with N1 oil pump yeah i found a picture and edited it on paintbrush
  10. Oh and a diagram of the rb oil flow
  11. Cp je wiesco and a few other pistons have a v grove between the top and 2nd ring for the purpose of having them pressurized to keep them horizontal, which will reduce flutter Ty r33_racer slight typo on my part but yeah the side drain is the first spot oil will drain down as the rest of the oil will still pool until it can get above the casting around the springs and head bolt areas
  12. Piggaz - the 25/26 heads have the half inch npt fitting between #3 & #4 from factory, (10mm hex key needed to remove it) the part number i mentioned screws straight in with a bit of thread sealent I actually agree with gtr_joey, If you weld AN fittings onto the sump in line with the cranks counter weights, as the crank moves downwards, the counter weights create a downward suction effect on the exhaust side, On the intake it will create an upward push effect, which is why i want to move the rear drain to the intake side to act as a sump gas vent Atm i don't have oil control issues, more planning for future as a "just in case it might happen" oil drains are drilled out in head and block, but didn't fit restrictors (no one had any available at the time) number 6 piston does have piston knock on cold starts which does have a little blow by, but none after it warms up (i re used my 3 month old forged pistons after valve float from shitty valve springs. Number 6 piston skirt had collapsed 2 tenths of a thou, and i didn't want to wait 8 weeks for a new set as it is my daily driver) but yeah i'm aware that the drains are a "band aid effect" but thought someone may benefit from it if they dont want to pull a motor apart just to fit restrictors
  13. Side drain, no idea what fittings would suit the turbo guys but here is what i did (the rear drain will be moving to the intake side of the sump at a later date) side fitting speed flow part number 816-08-08 And i used a straight dash 8 fitting on the head, and a 45° fitting for the sump end
  14. 1mm gaskets and piston sitting above 0.0064" = 0.033" squish minimum factory recommended valve clearance is 0.080" I've taken 0.090" off my 26 head to get to 10.75:1 and i still have 0.130" intake and 0.180" exhaust piston to valve clearance with a 10cc domed piston I will check piston to valve clearance before i grind the head
  15. so wish i didn't sleep in
  16. slept in,
  17. because the leprechaun tells you to?
  18. i'll try to be there, no promises, all depends if i can finish this short motor in time (most likely coming from work in moorebank so wouldnt be much traveling needed)
  19. i just take pride in the things i do... except women, not proud of a lot of the ones i did
  20. thats the pass, and my phone was held up the the window, but yeah there is either a big drop or a rock wall, if its wet ill take a pass
  21. well i went there a while ago and some turns were still slippery on dry roads, and the other drivers are unpredictable on what they would be like in the wet http://youtu.be/KNUPL5YrPWc
