  1. Hi guys up for sale my rims, they are Rays Gram Light 57F Pro. Bought from Import Monster a while ago. Wheels are 18 x 10 the offset is +12 so it sit nicely on GTR. Rims will come with tyres fronts are Pirelli P Zero 245/40/18 Rear tyres are cheapy Achilles 245/40/18. tread are still quite good on the rear. One rim got minor rash by the previous owner in Japan apart from that they are all in quite good condition. Only asking for $2100 I'm after a quick sale. Wheels can be view in Noble Park, Victoria or can contact me on 0401234137 any time The car is also for sale !!
  2. Well, if the ECT sensor is faulty, it will confuses the ECU and when my ECT sensor went kaboom, my idling was rough and sometimes shoot up to 2000 rpm as well but not constantly, most of the time the idling would drop so low and cause the engine to stall. Do you see any black smoke coming out of your exaust while idling or before the car stall???, Check the spark plugs as well
  3. Check all 6 spark plugs see if all of them are covered in unburnt fuel, if they are. Check the ECT sensor (engine coolant temperature sensor) if the sensor is dead, it over fueled the piston during idling and will cause it to stall. ECT sensor located at the thermostat housing by the way. It would be the ECT sensor if the problem only occuring when the engine is hot or at the working temperature and run smoothly while cold.
  4. Check your spark plugs again, see if they are all black covered by unburn fuel. if so then it is most likely the ECT sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature). Locate near the thermostats housing. What it does, it sends signal to the ECU to tell what temperature coolant is and adjust the fuel mixture accordingly. So if the sensor is not working properly, even when the coolant is hot, the ECU still think the coolant is cold and still gives really rich fuel mixture and result in heaps of unburn fuel and rough idling and engine spluttering and coughing black smoke out the exaust when the engine is hot. Hope this help mate and good luck. PS : ECT sensors are roughly $30 retail price, and you can use the one from Nissan 350Z or 200SX or even Navara.

  7. Have you consider Supra or Chaser? I've driven R34 Auto and it was boring and didn't feel like a sport car And you know.... you can always pre-roll your smokes before you hop in the car At least go for a test drive, try both automatic and manual before you make any decision.
  8. Love your car Terry, makes me want to get an R34
  9. or...maybe I really like how my car looks when lowered.
  10. Thx mate so I can say I've got dual cats

Spotted a bayside blue R34 GTR on kingston rd somewhere near Clayton. I pulled up next to the car and said "Nice car" I got a completely ignore reaction in return and the driver kept looking straight...... oh he's quite old maybe that's why....
  12. Driver's only on my car as well..... I think the engineer just want more money off you mate.
  13. Maybe because of the flood, the company lost lots of money so they are trying to get some back. I'm guessing though. Mine went up last year as well after the hail storm in Melbourne. But my agreed value is $22,000 though.. so I'm not sure I could be wrong
