Hey budy, do you still have the turbo set up? Does the front pipe include the external waste gate connection pipe or is it a screamer set up? Do you have any pics of the turbo and did you have it running on this engine set up or did you just buy it all and never end up using it?

When i had my stagea (s2) the best improvement in fuel economy was when i put the GT3071 on it. The bigger exhaust turbine meant that i was never on boost just driving around the city. The stock turbo is so small that it starts to spool up way to easily and down way to low. No fuel improvement when thrashing it of course. that said, a new one will cost you around $2500 and if you include your dump pipe and nistune it will end up a fair bit. the only boost controller you need is your right foot. you can have a car that makes 300KW and still be good on fuel if you just drive it sensibly. unless you go to the extremes (anything over 350+KW) a car that makes more power is generally running better so it will always use less fuel until you start driving it all the way through the rev range every gear.

yeah i planned on keeping my car for a few more years also, unfortunately it was the right car at the wrong time. planning a couple of month overseas trip and another house next year as the unit is getting a bit small now. something had to give and it just made sense to say good bye to the biggest expense in our house.

I just sold a Stagea, im driving around in a "fantastic" 1993 4cyl camry that runs on the sniff of an oily rag. I miss my car already but don't miss the fuel bill. we are just waiting to see if the insurance company writes off the Barina or is going to pay us out. We are trying to figure out what to replace it with, im thinking Mazda 6.

well my car sold last week and the very proud new owner came and picked it up a few days ago. i got $ 12,750.00 for it so i guess thats pretty good. on another note i smashed my wifes car the day before i sold the Stagea. damn idiot went straight through a give way sign and i T-Boned him and have totally stuffed my neck, shoulder and back up. i hit him doing about 45km/h in a 2006 Barina and the air bags didn't even go off. spent a few hours in hospital getting all checked out so i have been laid up all over christams and have been watching the wife do all the house work well i hope you have all had a great christmas and have been safe and enjoying your holidays if you have them.

yeah i saw that the prices have really dropped in the last 12 to 18 months. i guess you get that when you buy a car before everbody else realises how good they are and then they get imported in there hundreds. if it doesn't sell that just means i get to keep it and do it up a bit more. going to do the 100k service on it over christmas and get it nistuned. i will leave it on the market and if it gets picked up before then, then oh well. i don't have to pay a loan off or anything as i own it outright so it's only costing me service and rego costs at the moment.

Do these cars have a shocking resale or something. i thought i might have had a call or something by now but not a thing. hmmm nistune might have to be the go. then my boss won't complain so much about the fuel cost.

Selling my RS (V) RWD stagea as i must make way for a company car. Have had not one fault or mishap in the four years i have owned it and am the only owner since it was imported by Sinergy Motorsport. Only minor modifications have been done such as, Trust full turbo back 3"exhaust, Trust pod filter, Kei Office coil overs (very rare, have been rebuilt with koni inserts, height and spring rate adjustable), Heavy duty front and rear sway bars, R33 disc brake and calliper conversion, Frount mount intercooler, Tomei fuel pump, Apexi turbo timer, GREDDY plum back blow off valve, MV stage 2 shift kit, Jaycar boost controller set to 10psi and has never been higher, Tinted front windows with all others as privacy glass, JVC CD player, 4 x brand new tyres (not shitty retreds either) has also had the factory zenon headlight globes re installed since they were removed for compliance. Have got a brand new Z32 airflow meter and nismo fuel pressure reg that will go with the car as i was going to get a Nistune done soon and they were going to be put on the car then. Asking price of $14,000 The car has been driven every day to work and back and has been on several long distance trips. That is very true, i could do that. But not everbody wants leather seats. The person that buys my car might want to put better front seats in also. I was just about to buy Mikes Impul seats and put them in but it would be money that i wouldn't get back if i did that now.

yeah i thought so also. it hasn't got leather seats like a lot of the others for sale at the moment but i figured it has got a Dayz kit and all the other mods done so $14,000 is a steal.

I just want to say a very big thank you to Ruby & Dave for helping out and making the day go along with out any hassles. A lot of people commented on how good the wagons looked at the reception. Hi guys i asked around a couple of months ago if anyone in Adelaide who owned a White Series 2 would be like there car to be involved in wedding this coming Sunday. Well Cheif Stagea (Adam) put his hand up to do it but now his engine is dead, RSV AREO (Josh) put his hand up and well the poor bastard had his car stolen last night. So i have had Dave B come to the rescue but i still require another car. If anyone who owns a silver or white or black S2 is free this Sunday Oct3rd from about 11.30 till 4.00pm could they please message me as soon as possible. Thanks heaps guys, i know this is short notice but i had it all worked out and the unspeakable has happened so i would really appreciate if someone could help me. I am paying by the way and ill be asking the photographer to take some pictures of the cars and i will pass these on to the owners also.

does everybody change it at 100,000 or is a if it's not broke don't fix it rule apply

is there anything in particular that makes the NEO engine water pump different to the others. i imported my car from synergy a few years ago and while i was in there last week they said they use standard RB25 R33 water pumps as the only difference was a 10mm locator bolt hole was missing. just trying to save some money if possible as RB30/25 water pump i can get for about $80.00

hi guys i am about to do the 100,000 km service on my stagea and was wondering if all the RB motors use the same water pump. im pretty sure the RB26 is the only motor that is different. i am sourcing all my parts through my uncles workshop but some of his part books are a bit old. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys i have a wedding coming up on Sunday 3rd of October this year and after much debating i have got the missus to agree to stageas. Mine is silver but we are looking for two pearl white or two black stags perferably series 2's that are clean and straight. the driver ownesr will be paid as i will need you for a few hours and it would be appreciated if you could dress for the occassion. will be a good chance to get some very professional shots of your cars also. hope to hear back from some of you guys as it's been ages since i have been on here. cheers Dave
