im running a china manifold, modified tho, making 800hp. no cracks as yet, was a tad hard to fit as the stud holes werent perfectly aligned... had to weld a t5 flange on it for the gt45 to fit. to weld a stock cast manifold is not at all hard, what IS HARD is welding it with a crappy welder. if youv got the good gear youl get good results. my2.5 cents lol catcha dan.

Fagersta is a good stainless and alloy shop. mainly wholesale, but im sure public can buy too! for a 4 inch mandrel dont expect anything less than 45.00 each lol

TPS, AFM, IGNITION COILS HAVE THE IGNITORS IN THEM INSTEAD OF SEPARATE., All of which are very easily swapped for series 1 gear. other than that, internally and externally the same motor. hope that helps, Cheers, Dan

from memory 9.8mm is max lift. its due to the lobes fouling the head, it will need to be clearanced for bigger lift... but im sure 9.8 is enuf for any half serious streeter loll

if you have the surgy set up correctly, the excess fuel from the reg will go into the surgy before it hits the fuel tank anyways, keeping the surgey full. only time you MITE have a drama i on WOT but unless your using every ounce of your 670cc injectors, you wont have a problem. iv been through this in my drag car, and yeh i must sat the fuel system and all the speedflow fittings were the biggest headache of the whole project so far!! dude you can use the gtst 5 speed, theyr identical except for the transfer case. as for fittup, theyr identical motors to bolt in. you will need the ecu and exhaust done, but basically straight in shel go!

as title states, just uploaded a vid of my r33 with a rough as guts base tune and a afm still attached as my MAP sensor and wideband still havent arrived. spewin. ah well, here ya go. rb25det should be around 12 liters. so im guessing that a rb20 would need 10 liters of internal volume. there is a lot of technical details in plenum design man, flow characteristics change with pressure and runner length and diameter, air temp even can affect flow. for a turbo engine the details are not as important as in a NA motor, as the air is getting forced around in the plenum. with most plenums tho, the taper at the end is more for asthetics than function. i recommend bellmouthing the internals, yo can get 52mm bellmouths from JNT performance in albion park rail for about $20 each. if you like i can email you a program for flow analysis which i stumbed accross web.....

no matter how many times i hear this argument, theres allways people who love the v8s and people who love the turbo scene. i myself love both, having much to do with drag racing, my whole family infact, most of which arew into v8s, but myself and my cousin love our turbos. cant beat a turbo V8 tho haha

hey all, just threw an emanage ultimate in the ol' r33 gtst, set the parameters and did a base map, but no injectors are firing. thing is, im using a r33gtr plugin harness, now is there any drop down resistors IN the harness that anyone knows about? im thinking this is the issue. either that or the ecu is fried. any ideas are greatly appreciated!!! and before i get abused, YES i know, its a damn e manage.... im playing ok haha Cheers, dan
