  1. Yep, the rear diff housing has fins on the 33 vspec, well acording to Andy Middlehurst anyway ;-)
  2. Im not aware of any, need more details about it.
  3. Went to the show last night, lined up to sit in a 350z and gee it felt almost like a skyline (shield up). But my pick of the show was the supercharged mini cooper for $41000, mr bean here i come! Anyone try that V8 "Supercar" simulator?!
  4. A few years ago Caltex claimed that they didnt want to release 98RON because it didnt have the cleaning properties that 96RON did. But i suppose demand has made them release Vortex 98, it is only available along the east coast at the moment, but will be australia wide within the next 6 months. If it does just say Vortex on the pump, then it is the 96RON. The new Vortex 98 is on a white background with 98 written on it.
  5. Looks like u will have to try and get a few quotes to repair, goto jap wreckers and see if u can get a new bonnet, head lights (i think its a fair bit for just these), front bar etc. But get the quote's first as they will tell u what needs replacing and it will make it a lot easier for when u go shopping. If not i want the windscreen!
  6. G'day mate!! ok this question isnt about porn or drugs ok! Just wanted to know what reputation Mines has in Japan? and where abouts are they located? Cheers
  7. Take it to a tuner, better to spend 200 then 2000+ when ya engine dies.
  8. I had my gearbox out, cost $1200 all up including $600 for a flywheel and clutch. Seals, gaskets and rear extension seats were replaced which was about $120 But that was a few years ago, so i'd say it will probably cost $1200+ now. Goodluck
  9. Hi guys Being annoyed to hell over the horrible noise my car was making, i finally discoved a hole in the exhaust. It was on the weld that joins the pipe to the final flange going to the rear muffler. A bit of metal putty and 5 minutes of my time and it made a great difference. The transition from 2500 to 3000 rpm didn't sound as loud, and it was slightly quieter on idle.
