Its a much of a muchness. I prefer the caliper to be two piece with with a boltable bridge rather than having to take the whole caliper off to change pads like with the Mono 6. The AP can also have a spacer plate put into it so that it can take V8 Supercar sized rotors, the extra 9mm diam isnt that big a deal its the extra 4mm in width...but you will be fine with cooling offered by the Alcon

They are a steal. They are nice kits. I woudl prefer the APs myself but given the cost difference you would have to grab the Alcons which are a proven good thing
