Hi Guys. I got 2 RB30 short bloks from Australia, and wanna build a RB30/RB25 into my Stagea RS4, but i am not sure i have all parts and, and how to build the buttom of the engine. The RB30 shot blok is rebuild, so my new wiseco pistons in size 86.5 fits, i have all the bearings, the HX version from ACL, my crank is polished, and new gaskets. I have a RB25 buttom with 4WD and, a RB26 buttom from a R34, witch one is the best to this engine, my goal is 800+ hp. My RB25 top, is a RB25DET, it is ported, and i have Tomie Pro cams, solid lifters, timing belt and adjustable cam wheels.. New oilpump from Nismo, new waterpump, big plenum, single turbo manifold and a Garrett GT45. The adapter-plate i have to use to assamble the RB25 top and the RB30 buttom, where can i buy that, or is it better to build by that my self.! Other things i need, before i can assamble the engine.! Hi Guys. I have a problem with my aircondition, when i push the buttom Auto og Aircondition, it don´t start the pump, i have checked the fuses, they are okay, in the big fuse-box, i full up the big blue fuse, and put power on leg 3 or 5, and the aircondition starts, then i know it have to be somewhere arround the control panel, but why and where.!!

I get boost a 4300 rpm, yes all the internal parts will last much longer, because i get my boost at high rpm, often when people broke there h-beams, is when they get boost at low rpm, i think thats the reasons i can get all that power, i will try to go for 600 hp now, i get a lot of wheelspin when i get boost in first gear, and second gear it just pull, no tire smoke. Octan 99 from Shell. (i will have to take a look at the ECU-sheet to tell you that, but it is high (later today) The car i rwd, and this is a normal RB25DET engine. Take a look at this video, and watch where the light starts in the manifold, cylinder 5 and 6, there we have added more fuel, to cool them. On this video,. i make 1,3 bars boost, and approx 470-480 hp.

Hi guys. Today i had my Stagea on dyno again, at 1,49 bars boost. Before it was on the dyno, we adjusted the ignition 4 degress higher in the boost-area, air-fuel-ratio at 1.55 bar on road, 11.8 Effect on dyno: 552 hp - 588 nm. Engine insite, everything standard, cams, valves, gaskets, bolts, pistons, beams ect. Changed: Aftermarked intake-plenum, 80 mm trottlebody. Injectors, 680cc. Single turbo manifold. Turbo T70. Aftermarked ECU, Megasquirt, adjusted by my self. Aftermarked Intercooler and piping, 2,½ inc, to 3,½ inc. Exhaust 3,½ inc all the way. Innovative Motorsport LC1 wideband kit. Thanks, and i know i will get a lot of informations everywhere, good ones and bad ones, the RB30 is new for me, and i really have searched the net to find information, looking at your page (Nice one), seen videos of cars with R.I.P.S engines, thats for sure powerfull cars, but i am a Home-builder, and thats sometimes give me conflicts, and i pay, thats the same way i will build the RB30, and the reasons i purchased 2 of them, i am willing to pay the "Learn-money". Many people thinks aggresive cams like 272, 286 is the ones to go for, maybe, that depends on how and where you need your boost, at what rpm ect. i will rater go for 260 with the highest lift, and better valve-springs. I will use the standard crank, dont touch it, find the best h-beams, have heart about a company in Sweden, but cant find them, pistons, rated and tested to more then 800+ hp, i know many people believe what they read on the internet of numbers from the producer, i rater believe in peoples experiense/personally tests. Try to find a company, maybe HKS and see the specs of the cams, are you going for less than 800 hp on a 2JZ-GTE (Supra) engine, HKS advice 264 or lower, more than 800 hp, 272 cams ect.! Strokerkits, i will never do this, i like the short h-beams, big volume, high rpm. (Look at F1, how they build there engines) I know Tomie makes some fine pistons, and they rated them to max. 750 hp, i will go for more, better build a engine to 1000 hp, and run with 800. I have calculated, that i have to make a boost at 1,5 bars, to make 800 hp on this RB30, with a GT42 turbo, and thats my goal. Learn-money, when i build my red stag, a straight RB25DET, standard cams, h-beams, bearings, gaskets, no-ported, only changed the inlet, and exhaust manifold, injectors, and mounted with a T70 turbo, people keeps telling me, you will never make more than 400-430 hp, today i make 530 hp and 561 tourqe, and have max. Rpm at 8400, 1,45 bars boost, it runs every day like a well oiled machine, goal is 600 hp., i will show them, i make my own ECU, and adjust it myself. (Work on a tuningshop). But before i pay Learn-moneys this time, i will try to use peoples experience, tests ect., from where this engine is made for, only the Australian marked, that’s the reasons for this treat. “Highest possible flow from air filter, to output of exhaust ~ good adjusted ignition ~ good injectors ~ right among of fuel all the way” Back to bussines, where can i find the best h-beams and pistons for a RB30 engine.! Setup will be a big single turbo, a GT42R, i have the R34 gearboks, have a guy who will build new axels, he normally build to tractor-pulling :-) I have a trible HKS clutch. This will be a everyday car, and for some fun in the weekends at the dragstrip, i know i will get lag, but thats fine. Car is a Nissan Stagea RS-Four V Where will my limits be, what to be wear of, don´t know anything about this RB30 bottom, have bouild many 2JZ-GTE and RB25DET engines, but never this one. Have found a lot treats here, but not with the same goal as i have. So far i have found: Cams Tomie Pro 260 in/ex - 10.25. + lifters. Bearings and gaskets. Waterpump Oilpump

Thanks mate, that's makes me happy, and thanks for all the URL. Goal for the new white Stagea, RB30 engine, and big hp, money is no problem. today i pull out my old engine, stripped the new one, put my old plenum and turbo-kit on the new engine, i only missed the flywheel and clutch, and tomorrow morning (Now it midnight i DK), a new engine is ready to boost and run. (I took a lot of pictures, they will be here tomorrow.) I also took the top of the old engine, and thats bad, some of the aluminium from the piston number six, is sitting on the cylinder-wall, i also have pictures of that.

Where can i get that i AUS.!! Or better, a m8 downunder, find me a RB30 engine, i will pay him before he buy it, and the shipping costs aswell, and send to my adress in Denmark.

I have only cracked 1 piston, no 6, had the plugs out today, a little camera down, and there was oil on top of piston no. 6. I don't want to repair this engine, i found a new one today, and i start tomorrow changing, hopefully i am on the road again 6-8 hours later. ( thats the great thing, when i don't have to change anything insite, only intake and turbomanifold.)
