  1. Not Mine. But I feel SP Engineering deserves credit where it is due.
  2. Doesn't HKS offer a complete short block build for the RB28? I'm not sure if you need to provide the block or what, but that might be something you should look into.
  3. Its got a huge flow rate! I'm just wondering who on here has used it ... -Allen
  4. Hey guys, I'm having a really hard time finding parts and what not (like usual here in the USA)! I've got an R34 GT-R and need to know what other parts I should get suspension wise. I'm going for around 500whp and want to do drag racing with it, some time attack, and a lot of street use. Keep in mind I don't mind too stiff of a ride. So far I ordered the HKS Hypermax III coilovers. I need to know what else I should get like bushings and tension rods and what not. And yes, I've used the seach function lol -Allen
  5. Go to the RIPS website ... Rob makes some beautiful catch tanks!
  6. That is a very good point you have made. I guess I'm not thinking with my head on this subject. But like I said before rob has also proven what he can make these cars do ... so I guess since I started this topic to see what people prefer, I got good turn outs. I am also still leaning towards the R.I.P.S kit by the way. Rob if you are still involved with this thread could you throw up a mod list on the Blue RB30 R34 GT-R for the guys here.
  7. Yes I have seen those, but what about the cars that have been built in japan before RIPS was building his setups? That kinda says something to me. Not bashing Rob is anyway at all, he is an amazing guy! But this is why i'm so torn on what I want to do
  8. I was checking out websites for oil pumps and other stuff and I found a Reimax high flow oil pump. Seems like this thing can pump quite a bit. Has anoyne used it or anything? Is it worth buying? http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpar...category=engine Thats the link for it, its more towards the bottom of the page.
  9. The more and more RH9 cars I see from Japan, they almost all use HKS 2.8 strokers with HKS head parts. I checked the max Rpm for the HKS stokers and head components and they both said 10,000+Rpm. I'm starting to realize the build whats proven theory.
  10. I'm personally still in favor of Rob's RB30 build. Not only does it seem like the best deal to me, but it seems like the best way to go if your going to maintain some streetability and drag race it. Not only that, but I've been talking to Rob via e-mail and he is one of the nicest most helpful guys you will every meet! Thanks for all the help and co-operation rob!
  11. I'm actually leaving the Country for work soon, but while I'm away the car is one of the things I think about most LoL . So I'm sure I will decided by the time I get back on what I plan on doing.
  12. I got in contact with Rob From RIPS today and basically for a fully built turn key RB30/RB26 good for 850+whp what I'm looking at is in the area of $40,000 plus. This kit is basically a turn key kit with everything and I mean everything included. I was adding things up for the total build and its actually more, plus you gotta factor in all the time and extra labor when it come to building a whole car like that. So looks like I know which route I'm going. I've just decided I'm gonna put the car down for a while and just do the entire build at once. I better start working more hours and saving more money lol!
  13. Another good point ... If you have the money, why not just buy the best of the best parts. Then you should not have to cryo treat!
  14. Cryo is a big thing here in the states. Guys have their blocks done, cranks, rods, pistons even bearings. I've never heard anything but people talking good about it. So if you have the extra coin, why not just get it done to be safe right?
