  1. Any cars in general - but i suppose im thinking along the lines of RB20DET / SR20DET... I just really like a more linear power delivery.... but also like the bang for your buck performance of turbo... kinda wanting to best of both worlds... Superchargers are expensive... And so is N/A tuning to get the same gains as slapping a turbo on.
  2. What ways can you have the turbo (stock or aftermarket) spool up as early as possible? I know you can lose potential power/tourque gains but what im really looking for is the earliest spool up possible whilst still producing more power/tourque than stock. Any help?
  3. Hey bud, to put in my 2 cents worth - dont go for the celica or the prelude. Just buy a rear-wheel drive car. whatever it is. Try a N/A R31, R32 or R33 or silvia. Even an old-school 300ZX aint bad (if a little heavy) Just dont buy an arse-dragger!!! lol
  4. Hey people! Im from Adelaide, S.A. I own a BMW 318i but looking to buy either SR20 180SX or RB20 R32 GTS-t. Just gotta figure out this sore-point debate over engines...
  5. Hi all, It has been posted quite a lot around the traps that the SR20DET is alot more responsive in the lower/mid rev range than the RB20DET (which is said to feel gutless off boost)... fair enough... but when i look at the tech specs, the torque figures are only 9Nm different and the the RB20 has max torque 800 rpm lower than the SR20. i.e. SR20DET 274Nm @ 4000 rpm RB20DET 265Nm @ 3200 rpm Wouldnt this suggest that (in stock form at least) the RB20 is better for daily driving as peak torque is earlier?? Call me crazy if you want, and there might be things i've overlooked or haven't taken into consideration or have just got plain wrong, but surely so many people haven't noticed this before??
