  1. Selling the car as a whole due to time constraints http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/367015-sa-damaged-r33-gtst-s1-black-auto-going-cheap/
  2. Due to time constraints I would like to offload my damaged R33 as a whole car instead of parting it out (old thread here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/361687-parting-out-black-r33-gtst-auto-rear-left-qtr-damage). All details and pics are available on that thread. Looking at letting it go cheap for only $1800. It's running, albeit roughly as its been sitting in a carport for a couple of months now. Haven't moved the car, but due to damage in the rear left I know the rear left tyre is up against the guard, so it will roll but haven't tested how badly its rubbing since taking out the stock height springs and putting in lowered ones. Was a fairly stock R33 with only manual boost controller, pod, cat back exhaust. My replacement car is a Series 2 and as such I have swapped some parts between the cars such as door skins and speakers, head unit, rear sets, custom parcel shelf, struts and springs. The S2 interior parts will come with this car (no head unit though), however I haven't had time to fit them. Pickup from Adelaide (northern suburbs), unless you want to arrange transport that is hassle free from my end. It is no longer registered, and was classed as a repairable write off. So good for someone who wants to fix it up or take some parts and sell off the rest for a profit. Cheers Wayne
  3. Thanks for the reply. They're on a Series 2 R33. Want to remove them and try the car stock, seems a little sluggish compared to my previous S1. Also have a turbotech manual boost controller which did a decent enough job, so would rather get the jaycar stuff out and hock it and put the manual BC in.
  4. IEBC = elec boost controller DFA = Digital Fuel Adjuster They come as electronic kits from Jaycar which you put together
  5. Recently bought an r33 with these pre-installed and want to remove them...anyone got advice on how to do so and how easy it is? I have no removal instructions at all and haven't found any after searching. Looks like they're connected to the ECU, but never having touched electronics I don't want to fiddle too much without getting some advice first. Cheers
  6. $40 for drivers side switch...whoever wants it. It's in working condition, had the usual issue with r33 drivers side window, but auto elec re-soldered the switch a year or two ago which fixed it up good. Only blemish is with the passenger door lock button where the icon has faded a bit. Photo attached.
  7. Boot trim is in good nick from memory. Dont know how postable it is, as the back panel covering the battery couldn't be folded and neither could some of the other parts which are molded.
  8. Parting out my wrecked r33 gtst (auto). It was a repairable write off due to damage to the left rear quarter. Its done 157xxxkms and currently fully functional (as of writing!), has most parts on it, though i need to remove the stock springs to get my replacement car through regency. Couple of pics attached, can provide more if necessary. If there's anything you need let me know. Happy to sell it as a whole or in parts
  9. Hey mate, I had issues with my 93 R33 gtst, there's apparently a common problem with the solder joins in these where it cracks and that just needs to be re-done and then it should be sweet (in case u didn't know already and are having intermittent problems). Took mine to an auto elec and they fixed it up for around $100
  10. Thanks for the offer. Not keen on a sedan, plus it's a little out of my price range. Good luck with the sale!
  11. thanks for the reply and rough figure. Haven't got buyers lined up for heaps of parts, just one possible showing interest for the rb25det but not wanting to pay too much and that's about it. I guess if it was like 10-15% of the insured amount then I'd do it to try and make a few bucks back. They would have a fair idea how much they'd consistently get for something like this though I would assume
  12. Yes. But depends on price. What have you got mate?
  13. Had a guy run up my arse last week and repairers have said its a write off. Being in SA I have to wait a week and a half before the insurance assessor looks at it, and from what I understand if he agrees with the repairers that it's a repairable write off then they'll give me money and I'll go shopping...anyway I also understand you can buy your wreck off of the insurer for a decent price as they typically just take it to auction and get what they can...just wondering what the majority of you would be willing to pay for it from the insurer? Details are: 93 R33 S1 GTST Auto (Black) 155xxx kms Rear left quarter damage and probably a little rear right as well due to the impact Engine fairly stock, just a pod, replaced a few hoses with silicon etc Just want to have some idea so when the assessor gives me a figure I'll know whether or not to buy it back and sell as is or part it out. thanks
  14. Looking for a nice Series 2 S14 200SX in Auto. Location preferably in SA, but may go to VIC if it's worthwhile. Cheers
  15. manual or auto? didn't see it anywhere, sorry if I missed it.
  16. Hey currently cant help you but: 1. my s1 r33 was written off on friday (rear-ended) and i may be buying it off the insurance co if possible to sell in parts. Im also in SA. 2. I had the same problem, but had all solder points re-done by auto electrician which allowed the window to work again. Apparently this is a common problem...just sayin in case you didn't know. Cost me about $100 from memory.
  17. Got a stock grille from Series 1 R33 up for grabs. It's in pretty good nick for a 17 year old grille. Colour is charcoal with silver S badge. It is from a Black R33. There is a split in one of the clips but the rest are perfect - split doesn't affect it though. $50 ONO plus postage or pickup in Adelaide (Northern Suburbs)
  18. I have a Drift brand BOV which Im happy to get rid of. Comes with mounting plate which fit my R33 S1. It has trumpet attachment or you can plumback. Only had it on my R33 for about a month. Paid $200 for it. Make an offer if u wish
  19. As above, Im after a black mesh grill to fit a S1 cheers
  20. Still got the FMIC? If so, is it still in good nick? Got pics?
