Yep, but the cable looks to be the same in most ways... So not sure if they would be slightly different but i would doubt it as it would just cost more to produce for no advantage? PS - Do some work! -

The thing that is strange is that our two setups look like they are in the same position yet his cable is slack and mine isn't... Still gotta do some measurements -

UPDATES!!! LOL -
Mine isn't a perfect fit... But close enough You cant notice unless you are up close to the bonnet.....

Rims are next on my list, was going to get them to Craved for coating but considering just spraying them with the help from a mate (Blitz-26) for now as a cheap option... Not sure whether to just spray the XT7's in black/gunmetal and then sell them and get something else later..... After the damage i kind of lost interest in them.....

I dont think Poncams are that lumpy? They are only 260's... I'm just going to run it through Efi line for now as apparently most new line is fine, its only the stuff that's submersed in the fuel tank that i will have to get the proper stuff as i dont want any issues there... Hanaldo has done a good job with the braided line etc and ill do all that when i do the engine, for now we will just see what happens You should pull your finger out and get it done, your as bad as me with procrastinating lol..... But in terms of tune, choose wisely If you need a hand with the box let me know, i'm not that far away And train hard as they are a heavy bitch when you gotta do it on the ground.... I went to buy a hoist the other day for my shed but MUST finish the car first And YOU.....shuddup Thanks, was pretty happy with the black and the way it looks, not exactly stock looking but - I see you've run out of things to Powdercoat?

Yeah there will be a bit of double handling involved... I should have taken the head off when all the manifolds were off but didn't give it a thought... The engine wont get pulled down for a while so i might just slap them in and run a lower boost/limiter and just enjoy cruising for a while... When you going E85?

  lol Enough trolling from me........

The turbo HP rating means nothing in terms of what to expect.... Its the supporting mods that are going to make the combo work.... Do all the power basic mods and learn to drive the car before you go upgrading a turbo.... 300whp is going to impress you in a daily if you came from an Excel.... 400whp is going to cost you a LOT more than $5k to achieve on an R34.......TRUST ME!

He meant Haltech Dude... Vipec, Link, Nistune and PFC are all plug in but Haltech dont offer a PnP unit as they cant get a hold of the plugs etc..... Stupid design from Nissan by the sounds of it......
-
Hmm yeah i have heard a couple of instances where that has happened but these will be going in for now and the springs and retainers will all be done in a few months time when i get the head taken off, this wont see the track until all of that is done, it will be doing daily duties on low boost for a while And there is ALWAYS more money to spend when you play with cars

I'm not that far away from the finishing end and would be happy to cruise around and double check the road and report any issues, the organisers do a great job with these events and if i can help in anyway i am more than happy -
What's A Hi-Flowed R33 Turbo Worth?
34GeeTeeTee replied to RSFOURDayz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yep, just to add to what the guys above have said... The highflow turbo that was on my car had a reciept for $1900 highflow service and the turbo SHOULD have made good power but the best i got was a laggy 250rwkw and i blame the tuner for that result as the specs on that turbo on other cars make better power and are nice and responsive. To give you feedback on price, i sold mine for $800 in excellent condition. I would probably be inclined to point you towards the HG options etc based on others results.... My poor result made me change my whole turbo setup and it has cost a stupid amount of $$$ to do, so make the right choice the first time, dont bolt on an unknown as you will end up regretting it in most cases... -
Judging by the results in this thread that's good news for me then When mine is tuned ill see if we can find a car with similar mods and compare i guess! Will keep reading with interest for now tho!!

Sau Nsw Official Putty Rd Cruise! 22Nd April 2012

Hopefully riding shotgun for this one as the car is not finished..... Just a quick mention, the roads at the moment in the Hunter Valley are rough as guts due to the roadworks and also just due to the poor weather etc.... Can you PM me the actual road we will be traveling and ill scout it and make sure its sweet as i am up there for work pretty often (I work around the wineries so its no problem to check) -
It WILL be purchase and install as i have a quote for the PS2000 completely wired into my R34 with wideband and tune and its not much more than the pricing above... JEM are one of the best Haltech tuners around and if you want a premium job that you will be happy with i suggest you spend the money once and do it right. I had a Power FC and had no issues with it but ditched it in favour for the Haltech due to the mods and E85 etc... But for most road cars a Power FC will do the job fine. I have done so much research on ECU's lately and all seem to have heaps of PROS and not many CONS, but it all depends on the application you want it for i guess. The guys at JEM have done a few mates cars now and will be doing mine and a couple of others very soon, we drive 3hrs just to get there simply because they are so helpful, pricing is good and they have an awesome reputation. Adam is one of the best when it comes to Haltech from everything i've been told and the mates that have gone have been REALLY happy

You mean like the one i have? Will it work with that front bar -

Would be good to see a back to back comparison as the 3076 was always the turbo to choose for RB25 but the Kando is proving to be a performer now too... I chose the Garrett option, but have been reading this thread with great interest as the results are impressive....
