  1. On my radio for I think it is 79.3FM it says "Radio 80", rather than just saying 79.3 again. Does anyone know how to enter text for each station, would be nice to change it to "Triple J" or "99.3" and alike for each station, if it isn't too hard to do. (I have searched...)
  2. As stupid as it may sound, if you get a grounding kit it will make the VDC smoother. I think most people get it to smooth out the auto but even though I've got a manual myself, I found it to be most worthwhile.
  3. I've got KU19's on my car now, pretty happy with them. At first I wasn't so much but I think that was because they used some sort of grease or whatever to get the tyres on and got some on the tread and they were also over inflated. Now that's sorted they are good. I had Faulkens previously, they were fairly comparable, except the sidewalls on the Faulkens seemed a little stiffer. So probably prefered the Faulkens slightly but they were an extra $100 a corner. The KU19 tread pattern is an obvious rip off of Pirelli P Zero's. KU19's are supposed to be a little softer than KU31's which should mean they grip a bit better but wear a bit quicker. I had KU31's on a previous car, they were pretty good, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's were the best I had on that car but they were more costly and now some come out of China, which have a lower speed rating and they go for a fair few more dollars. Had KU31's on my current car but only while I was taking it very easy getting it over the pits etc. I read up a bit on the LS1 forums and everyone who had them were happy with them. Seemed to be some people making assumptions on car forums that because they are relatively cheap they aren't good but from people who had actually had them, they all seemed satisfied.
  4. For touch up paint get the code from the door frame of the car and get the touch up paint from Nissan.
  5. Well if yours gets written off, replacing it with one from Japan for the same price involves about a three month wait before it will be on the road, assuming you find a car of similar spec and condition quickly. To replace it locally will cost you more. Really what it comes down to though is odds, it's a bet with agreed conditions. Part of that agreement is that you won't commit fraud and you can be sure if there is any hint of that they will investigate.
  6. Yeah that's what I was wondering, thanks.
  7. Do you know if it is possible to get the other bulbs that point down and wide to match up colour wise and match the whiteness of the Xenon? Or would it be too bright to have them both on you went the Xenon's anyway?
  8. With carsales.com.au from memory you can edit the ad and pay one fee no matter how long it takes to sell. So if you aren't in too much of a hurry start high and if you aren't getting enough interest, lower the price.
  9. Checkerplate or woodgrain look roof? haha
  10. Glad it was a good one, hopefully I'll make it to the next one!
