  1. hey stao, looking for a turbo eqivilient to a t28bb/ but no bigger than a gt2860rs for a sr20. would i be right thinking it would be a ss1pu .64 and looking back through results do you have any for a fairly standard non cammed non vct s13 with standard mods 3" intake exhaust z32 550cc etc?
  2. Almost Complete Rb25det motor and gearbox turbo conversion package. Minus Clutch kit and turbo. Was pulled out of a 130,kms car. running with a standard turbo car made 190rwkw with dyno sheet. Includes: r33 rb25det Motor, turbo manual 5 speed gearbox, flywheel, high mount manifold external gate manifold forward facing plenum, z32 nistuned ecu modified for r33, new z32 afm, eboost 2, clutch slave, r33 tail shaft, top mount fuel rail, ecu loom cluster and plugs walbro 255lph fuel pump gearbox cross member and other stuff i have forgot to mention please note picture is just for reference until i can upload some in the coming days Pickup Newcastle Cash only Contact via pm gumtree or ebay
  3. 1.3 bar on the boost guage, yes around there but not from the bolts just to clarify.
  4. normally you would think there would be a machined groove for an oring? and as you slide the housing over the cartridge it would be a tight fit and seal it? this has no seating surface or space for an oring groove?? nothing in there before it was removed. are these an interference fit? boost leak checking with compressed air and water/ soap in a bottle identifies a leak of air from the back of the compressor housing inbetween that surface and the mating surface of the cartridge.
  5. Okay so following up on this, ben pulled the turbo and surprise no oring to replace and no gasket sealed up with rtv chucked it back on and its still leaking, what to do?
  6. The timing needs to be set at base idle of 650-700rpm, ignition missfire more likely coil packs and plugs, new plugs are a start and swap the coils for a mates set to eliminate.
  7. Working on another forum members car we found a boost leak from inbetween the compressor housing and the cartridge, after searching the net i am thinking it is a old oring that has gone brittle and perished, can we seal it back up with some rtv silicon?
  8. Gforce has tuned my ute and will again. Dvs jez on central coast for nissans.

Big thanks to luke (calsonic14u) and brendan from vulture motorsport just fitted up the plenum and was stuck on the fittings but after a few quick calls we figured it out pretty fast we ended up using a 1/4 fitting barb to suit 5/8th hose and 3 1/8th fittings for the vac lines. Fired up first go :-)

  11. Block comes with rear seal flange and girdle. Not much missing i have some pics in a prior thread.

  13. Just working on a Neo rb25det, when doing a boost leak test we found on the aac valve that the lower air bypass pipe isn't sealing properly into the valve. So we removed the pipe out of the valve and sealed it back up with some ultra red. Let it set and we will check it later on but has anyone had this problem before, what does nissan seal them with from factory? This is a picture of the valve, which is upside down.
