  1. Huge thanks to all involved in organising such a awesome and well run event. Says alot about the SAUVic club, the professionalism in the event planning and ability for the day to be run well, without any of the bitching and politics you can get elsewhere. All in all, it makes for one of the best and most fun days Ive had in motorsport, for which you all should be congratulated. I know David and Min in the Loti also had a ball and we all look forward to returning in December. Admittedly I wasnt overly keen on the condition of the Mini Wang , probably cause I came off and was sliding towards a tree for a bit (not a fan of rocks or trees for that matter!), but other than that, it was an absolute blinder of a day. Well done. Cheers Joshua.
  2. Just downloaded and filled out - will scan in at the office in the morn and send through. Here hoping its dry! Cheers Josh.
  3. Have been taking swimming lessons and have holes drilled in the car now so it doesnt fill up.
  4. Ryan - No such luck on the Gromet. That would be too easy. Got a heap of old towels out and did a sponge and squeeze job for an hour this morning! Ash - Where were you when I needed you!? haha
  5. Big thanks to the SAU Vic club for a ripper day. Easily the best motorsport day ive had in years - twas an Absolute blast! To the organisers, marshalls and volunteers magnificent effort. To organise and run a motorsport event is no mean feat, to then run it as perfectly as you did is a credit to you all. A BIG thank you. Was also great to share the day with many like minded people, pleasure to meet you all. Shame the crazy weather turned the car into a bath tub on the way home. Thankfully i had a bucket and was able to bail as i drove!! lol. Short of jumping into a swimming pool with your clothes on, i dont think ive ever been that cold or wet! Was a miserable end to a sensational day. Hopefully see you all at the next one! Cheers .
  6. hi Guys, a Friend And I will endeavor to be their round 6ish. will be in a Clubman and Lotus. cheers Joshua.
  7. Hi Guys, Is it worth finding out if anyone will be be providing tow services at the event your going to? My car died up at Winton a couple of weekes ago and got the car towed back to Melbourne for $220 as he was coming back to Melbourne empty. Cheap as! Possibly worth checking out as a tow sevice from melbourne would most probably go up to Winton empty anyway in a bid to bring cars back. The guys doing the Towing the other week was Wheelers Towing - 0418 312 857. Cheers joshua.
  8. Hi Guys, I recieved the Supp Regs and Entry form from Lindsay via email. Hopefully its attached.... Cheers Joshua PI_SUPP_REGS_MAY_2010PLUS.DOC PI_ENTRY_FORM_MAY_2010.DOC
  9. Great bike. You cant go wrong with a Honda. Try QBE and or Shannons as well. Both my Ducati and KTM were insured by QBE - fairly cheaply and had no problems when claiming. However I would not recommend riding without comprehensive. With bikes its not a matter of IF but WHEN.......unfortunately thats the reality of it these days. Everyone gets into bikes saying they will be responsible and it will never happen to me. But more often not its not yourself you have to worry about. Track days are where its at, or get in to riding in groups such as those on www.netrider.net.au. Enjoy and keep an eye out!
  10. I hope not - just sent a email entry in just then. Working from home today and dont have a FAX.....god I hate scanners!!! Payment on its way!! Hope you guys dont mind a imposter in the ranks. Looking forward to learning the car! Cheers joshua.
