  1. Could do without the overblown music and swinging camera!!
  2. Not unless they have done back to back testing with normal coolant...
  3. Its good for traders to respond to issues in general forums as they may have useful solutions for people. Their posts should be clearly labelled as traders. I don't think their posts need to be limited in number because if they just post unsolicited spam people will get annoyed and tell them where to go and moderators can suspend their ability to post.
  4. Hey good numbers! What turbo? Post up the chart in the section above. 2wd you will be just spinning the wheels most of the time?
  5. Have you got the appropriate Neo DET ECU for your auto or manual trans?
  6. Here's an R33 one...print it out and get under your car and see if it looks the same..
  7. There is plentiful discussion on brake pads further down in the "Suspension, Braking and Tyres" section.
  8. The Attessa systems on R32 R33 and R34 are all different. It could be that the pump is the same but look very carefully at how they are mounted as e.g. R32GTR and Stagea are quite different. Maybe between GTRs they are the same but have a look before you buy one. What sort do you want ? Is it for an R34 GTR? If its just the accumulator you need they are about $400 from Nissan (here is a part number from an old thread 41630 20U00)
  9. What did you expect it to do? It is not designed to make your engine cooler it just has a higher boiling point than water...190 deg C if you believe the label. So water temp is not the concern - you should keep an eye on your oil temperature and pressure.
  10. You don't say whether that is at idle, in traffic or racing but 95 deg is fine.
  11. You can work it out for yourself. Take a wheel off and measure your stud. Subtract 20mm and the rest has to fit in your wheel - have a look and see if there is room.
  12. For input on the above questions read say the last half of this thread: Regarding the failed seal your first port of call should be the people who installed it.
  13. Always good when a new build fires up - sounds healthy.
  14. Go down to the Drivetrain and Transmission section and the first sticky is lubricants. As for engine oil there are many opinions and it depends somewhat on the way you use your car. Google the question and most of the sensible answers will come from this forum.
  15. Don't know if this works on M35 but pull the wire off the ecu temp sensor - it will only take a few seconds to try. If it does nothing put it back ...if it works leave it off til you get a new sensor.
  16. Go Hypergear so that you can keep the stock manifolds and spend the money on the ECU, intercooler, exhaust and an LSD.
  17. Link sell a range of wire in ECUs from basic to sophisticated: http://www.linkecu.com/products/wirein-ecus/
  18. OK then but still coils are expensive so I would take them out, give them a good clean and try insulating them with tape or a spray and fit new plugs.
  19. Use the stock plenum and T/B - they are good for umpteen KW.
  20. Um you said the mods included coils.
  21. If you have a metal Mitsubishi CAS (most likely) you need a metal Mitsubish replacement 2373 02U11 Some late S2 apparently have the plastic capped Hitachi CAS 23731 5L 300 so if you have one of those you need another Hitachi. That's basically it. If you get the wrong one the drive on the end of the cam will not fit.
  22. If you have changed the coils but not the plugs they should be looked at anyway. If in doubt replace with new ones gapped down to 0.8mm.
  23. Its a common problem. Used to get it a lot with my Stagea. Stopped, pulled off a battery terminal and put it back and it would be fixed for hours or days or months. Just came right by itself. Some people touch up the soldered connections with a soldering iron or even just a heat gun. new cluster could be just the same. Could be sometimes down to car sitting unused for a while.
  24. If it was just this that would be normal. ^^^ The stock gauge is programmed to stay in the normal zone until it is really getting hot so that people don't get excited about minor fluctuations. However the fact that the ecu sensor is also staying in the normal zone does point to the aftermarket gauge being the odd man out.
