All IDs are supposed to be dyno tested, cleaned and matched so when he says they have only had dyno time then that is new spec which cost about AU $1870 odd. How much did you pay? Was it $500? If so that is Bosch price so you have been misled but not necessarily "ripped off". However I agree you should be entitled to return them for your money back as they were not as advertised.

What Is The Correct Oil Filter For Gtr R34
KiwiRS4T replied to NISSAN GTR's topic in General Maintenance
For not much more money you can get Nismo filters which are smaller but allegedly have good flow. -
Help / Advice required about Stagea seats
KiwiRS4T replied to Bullus's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Have you had a look under the seat to see if a wire has become unplugged? Does it still slide backwards and forwards? Checked the fuse boxes? -
There is a grey area here in that Injector Dynamics are modified Bosch injectors so all ID are Bosch but not all Bosch are ID. Buy from a trusted supplier like Scotty!

OK but GK Tech 10mm are probably the best you can do off the shelf (although you will need longer studs). If you can get 4 made for $90 that is the same as Jaminds $40 for 2. http://www.gktech.com/index.php/4-5x114-3-10mm-hub-centric-slip-on-spacers.html

Need New Brake Pads and Possibly Discs
KiwiRS4T replied to MatthewT85's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yes use the bolts but also bash the drums all round with a big hammer to loosen things up (assuming handbrake is not binding). You may need to clean up a bit of a lip inside the drums before you put them back (unless you have new ones). -
Blown Neo head gasket - Next steps?
KiwiRS4T replied to V28VX37's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Care to let us know what it cost? PM if you want. -
Read the R3B25 and RB30 turbo upgrade threads to see what people do and with what results and work out where you want to get to. Nothing more money wasting than doing things twice. With your budget i would take the time to look for a nicely modified car and save some time and money.

Anyone selling a PFC is probably upgrading to a more modern ECU with more computing power and more functions (Haltech, Link etc). if you have no aftermarket ecu and are not building a race car then if you can get a PFC at a good price then its still a good unit.

Diff Breathing a ...lot of oil
KiwiRS4T replied to Kinkstaah's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If you read the spec sheets you will find the Nismo stuff is in fact different (although also made by Motul). -
Stock FPR - you may need an adapter to fit it to your aftermarket fuel rail. Walbro should do it.

You haven't accidentally turned on the atessa lock (the one that lights up the two axle light assuming that the M35 is the same as the C34 in that regard)? Loose universals on the driveshaft? Recently fitted unequal front and rear tyres?

Where to buy rb30det 9:1 pistons?
KiwiRS4T replied to James_03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I repeat - get on the telephone and talk to a person. Here is one in NZ but I am sure you can get them locally if you but ask: http://www.nzperformance.co.nz/cp-forged-pistons/nissan-cp-pistons/cp-rb30-block-rb25/26-head-hybrid-pistons-5mm-os-9-0-1.html -
Where to buy rb30det 9:1 pistons?
KiwiRS4T replied to James_03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
There seem to be quite a few CP retailers. Get on the phone and ask for airfreight delivery times. Not sure even Spool would have them on the shelf. e.g. http://www.superformance.com.au/b/carillo-industries -
R32 GTR Drives window locks passenger door?
KiwiRS4T replied to Clintox's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
If you are sure its not an electrical problem it must be a mechanical problem. Take the door card off and observe the lifting mechanism and see if it is impacting on the door lock rods. -
250RWKW shouldn't require any massive fuel supply so there is a fault somewhere. If you are not comfortable with pulling the fuel pump out to check it you will need to find a shop to do the necessary checks on the fuel system and directly wire the pump. Stock FPR should be fine - they rarely fail but should be checked anyway.

Just search " R33 manual conversion". The hardest bit is getting a good R33 big box (the lighter one won't last). I don't know what you are planning to cut and shut unless you use a GTR box (because they are easier to find and cheaper). Your driveshaft may well be fine. Do the search and have a read.

I can't find any reference to a Bosch 255 fuel pump. Sure its a genuine article? If it is in fact a Walbro they really need a direct power supply at full voltage. Can you get a fuel pressure test? Have a look in the tank to see if the pickup is compromised somehow. Put an airhose through your fuel lines.Did the tuner have any suggestions as to what to look for?
