  1. Location: Brisbane, Qld Contact: 0439 133 666 This Skyline V35 GT is in great condition. It has 276 bhp / 206 kw of power and a gutsy 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine. This thing corners like nothing else in its price range. Great as a daily driver or for a track car. Or a mix of the two. If you’re looking for a car that you will actually really look forward to driving and really doesn't look its age, then you can’t go past this one. The engine is the same as in the Nissan 350z and was included in Ward’s Top Ten Engines list in 2005. I’ve had this car for nearly 5 years and haven’t had a single issue. It also features an aftermarket TV and picks up the free-to-air channels. And unlike many Skylines, this one has an installed audio cable so you can play music from your phone. The Bose audio system features incredible sound and a 6 stack CD player. This is the much rarer manual 2005 model and features the extremely desirable blue/grey colouring. You're not likely to find another one like this in Brisbane, let alone Qld. It has travelled just 105,000kms but the car has a timing chain (not belt) so you don’t have any upcoming expenses with that. I've had it serviced every 9,000-10,000kms since I've owned it and the service costs have been impressively low. It has always been garaged, I’ve only ever used premium fuel, and it has been washed on a regular basis. I am the 2nd owner in Aus and there is no record or indication that this vehicle has been in an accident. There is some scuffing on the wheels, most of which existed when I purchased the car in 2015. There is also some minor sun damage to the dash, which was also there when I bought it. Price: Priced at $11,999 and a roadworthy certificate will be supplied. I’ve just paid 6 month’s rego to Feb 2020. FYI, if you only have a Provisional Driving Licence and are considering this car, while it is compliant, insurance can be pricey for younger drivers. If you're cashed up, great. If not, might pay to look elsewhere. I absolutely love this car and am only considering selling as I need a 4 door car next year. If you're interested, drop me a message on +61 (0)439 133 666 Cheers, Tim
  2. I think the difference with the timeshare one is that you actually own part of the car so you can re-claim the original investment when you decide to sell. I don't think the investment would lose too much value either, regardless of depretiation.
  3. Just got an email back from them (www.timeshareexoticcars.com) . $17K would get you about 1 month of time with the car every year. You can't take it on the track though...but I guess no surprise there.
  4. Hadn't really thought about it before now but from a quick look around I found www.timeshareexoticcars.com which have one for $17K. Be interesting to find out how much time behind the wheel you actually get for that investment??? Anyone heard of these guys before or know how it works?
  5. Nissan Sports Car spectacular to be held at Qld Raceway (Willowbank) - July 8 Specialist car racing will have a new face when the first annual Time Attack Nissan Meeting hits Qld Raceway on Tuesday, July 8. Nissan Sports Car owners from around the Southeast will be pitted against each other in a race against the clock to determine who is Queensland fastest Nissan driver. Sponsored by NISMO, Motul Oil and BMC Air Filters, this promises to be a great event with side attractions including: demo cars, a dyno competition, motorkhana (race around the cones), a D.J. and a host of exciting giveaways. In preparation for the event, NISMO representative and event coordinator Chika Sakane, said the event will showcase the great diversity that motorsports has in Queensland and provide a new forum to demonstrate the true strength of Nissan sports cars. 8. Yep. Motul 8100 is a great oil. It has some of the racing tech of Motul 300V but without the price tag.
  9. 300V Chrono is specifically designed for race purposes. It does have excellent street applications but you probably don't need it unless your heading to the track on a regular basis. Check out linkauto.com.au and go to motul and then click products. If your looking for a step up above 4100 then 8100 Xcess has some of the tech of 300V and is a good compromise (incl price).
  10. Mate you should be able to get Motul Turbolite from any Repco or Autobarn store!
