Oh my love for the Dickson Pits runs deep. I have become so acquainted with this Canberra funland. I have had the most ridiculous things imaginable fail me on the pits, its almost a game. I am very careful, so they struggle to find things and make stuff up. I have a few tricks i have learnt to make it a little easier, wont say here. You Cert issues would have something to do with a certain JW? Yes every engineering cert for particular engine mods must have a emission test. At the facility you are given a Cold and Warm run. The Cold Run is a useless bit of paper that shows your car way above limits as your oxygen sensors arent even working. I am yet to see a well modified car among friends that has failed a warm run. Dickson is a fun place, You can pass one day with all the bells and whistles, nothing removed, and the next you can fail for a small tear in a seat like i have haha

While Riding the Ninja, Spotted Maroon R32 on Gungahlin Drive heading towards gungahlin at 3pm Spotted Yellow R34 on someones in the Copland College area Also Spotted a Yellow Ferrari, what i think was a 360 Modena F1, hence the F1 Number plates, leaving harcourt hill area

Haha, i didnt even see you there. Remembered you worked there, but figured you were hiding out the back. Was just buying fresh Vacuum hoses for a new electronic boost controller
-
Outside ay, so pretty high chances that its rusted through..
-
Yeah they go pretty cheap so I am not spending more than i have to on the stock motor. I will go all out on the upgrades. I just need a half decent motor to strip and go from there.
-
Preferably I would like a complete bottom end with head attached. Nothing else necessary.
-
I just want a complete rb30 s2 bottom end. I already have an Rb25det head on my car that I will use. I got figures of 500-600 from some wreckers down Queanbeyan way. I understand the going rate for such an engine should be not alot more than $100-150 based on what other people i know have paid for same engine type
-
Yeah mate. I am still trying to source the right block. I want the rb30 series 2 block of course. Had a few ridiculous offers from some wreckers. So basically we are both after an rb30 bottom end.
-
I've just started the same project haha
-
know how that feels. Mine hasn't been on the road many weeks since I had it off for about 6 months. Will have it off again soon for more. Sucks but it's usually for a good cause. Why was yours out of action?
-
Haha thanks. Alot of people have had trouble recognising it. I basically changed everything except the colour. Finally got it how I like it. Will be pulling it of the road in sometime, just decided on and put forward plans for an rb25/30 complete forged rebuild and conversion. Turning my garage into a workshop once again.

my 33 is always on the street outside the new college site. Was probably it.

Hahaha seen that car. The guy is an idiot. Not only is it spotting a boot badge, it has gtr front quarter panel badges too. This person has gone to alot of effort to be a dumbass.

Spotted what i remember to be a black and white R32 followed by a silver R35 GTR entering Federation Square in Gungahlin, clearly another formal drop off.
