  1. Hi, Does anyone know for sure if a series 2 steering wheel will fit a series 1.5 boss kit? Where can I find an aftermarket wheel that will fit that comes with an airbag ? I want to change my wheel because it is coming apart and has perished. My airbag is fine though. Anyone got a series 1.5 or series 2 (if it will fit) wheel WITHOUT the airbag they want to sell ?
  2. Had the same issue, tried everything you have said and nothing worked untill I forked out for SPITFIRE coil packs, Havent had 1 problem ever since. I think your HALTECH's could also be the problem ( Good idea to put irridium plugs in it to, stock ones from nissan arnt that expensive )
  3. Please see the next topic, this one came out by mistake ( it sounds like a stuffed wheel bearing from behind or inside the steering wheel??) Thanks
  4. May I just start by saying I LOVE MY SKYLINE ! I LOVE it when it has a problem, because I enjoy working on it and fixing it. Although, Now I have a problem I just cant work out, and Ahh, its fustrating ! When ever I turn my steering wheel, it sounds as if there is a busted bearing right behind it? Although I know there isnt a bearing there. It has been getting worse and worse by the day. I have a standard steering wheel with an airbag. Just today the horn went off as I turned the wheel, AND IT WOULDNT STOP ! Embarrassing driving down the highway..... I have dissconected the horn from under the bonnet (which was stuffed anyway, I need a new one "Anyone have the two horns for cheap?"), but am sceptical to remove the steering wheel. Has anyone ever had this same issue, does someone out there is JapWorld have any idea what it might be ?? Help me fellow SKYLINE LOVERS, cause I am stumped ??? Thanks, Dave
  5. Hi, May I start by saying I LOVE MY SKYLINE. I even love it when there is an issue, cause I enjoy fixing it. Although, now I have an issue I cant fix
  6. Hi, I am thinking of putting a Veilside BodyKit on my Silver R33 GTS-T, Some of my mates recon its too much, though I think it looks awsome Anyone's opinions on how it would go would be appricated, I wonder if it would look any good with just the side skirts, leaving the stock bars?? Does anyone have a pic of a silver skyline with it done? Here's a pic I got from the site where I would buy it from
  7. Hey scottie,Travis32 told me to tell ya that his internet has died thats why he hasnt gotten back to ya but the usual meeting point is the twin caltex servo's on the F3.Still tryin to get the people from up there so we aint sure just yet what the go is.
  8. Hey thanks allot, I might pull it out and see what i can do before buying another one, Or if anyone has one they want to get rid of for $50, its prob worth it to save my time and not have a tailight with a hole in it !
  9. Whats up guys? Is anyone certain about if there is a difference in the tailights on different series R33's ? Or are they all the same? Mine is leaking water and theres always condensation in it. Can that be easily fixed, I have no idea what may have caused it?? Does anyone have a tailight they want to sell me cheap? It's the drivers side. Would appreciate anyone's opinion on this.. Thanks
  10. Looking for a O/S/R Tailight for 95 R33 Painted silver Right Hand Drivers Side for a Series 1 Please PM me if you have one you would like to sell, Or if anyone knows anywhere to get one thats in good condition for cheap
  11. Thanks mate, it was set up that way, I still have alot to learn. I changed the plugs and that didnt fix the backfire, so I taped up the coils and it made a big difference, gonna get some new ones soon. Getting the AFC tuned too, that should get me movin!
  12. You know you can count me in Trav..
  13. Hi, Recently bought a R33 GTS-T, was running alright at 10psi boost with a boost controler joined to the exhaust side of the turbo and not joined anywhere else from the outlet point on the controller. At high boost it was backfiring. SO I changed the plugs (thinking that was the issue), but it didnt fix it. A mechanic friend of mine beleived it should have been conected at the other end to the intake from the pod filter. So we tried that also, and turned up the boost a little bit ( I want to try to get it to about 13psi) I am running the standard turbo, with a big intercooler and an APEXI AFC computer. Now it is backfiring even worse and we cant seem to ajust the boost at all. Im not sure if the controllers we have (we have two) are faulty or if they are plumbed incorrectly. The backfire issue we beleive is the coils now, so im going to try sealing them up or change them. But still unable to really adjust the boost at all, Has anyone else had a similar issue ? Does anyone know the Correct way to run the manual boost controler (from the waste gate to the intake pipe to the turbo is how we beleive) Is there anywhere I can get a diagram of this ? And last but not least ( I am new to this so I have a few issues, thanks to everyone reading this) , I live in Sydney, Where would be the best place to take my car to have it tuned, someone who knows allot about APEXI AFC settings? I have the standard computer in it, and feel this may also be part of my problem, but it should still be able to cope with the mods shouldnt it ? Thanks Heaps, Dave
