  1. Wow, thanks for all the replies guys! I was curious as to what the coppers are like regarding cars. I do live in somewhat of a paradise for that at the moment - no regular MOT/checks, no national speed limit, plus some of the public roads are maintained for for racing (I'm on the Isle of Man in case anyone is wondering). Having said that, I'd exchange it for some decent tracks. There's only one over here and it's more like a gravel car park than a track. Not somewhere to take your car if you like your paintwork! Are there a good set of tracks in WA, reasonably priced, well run etc.? I'll keep an eye on the boards here a bit more and do a bit more research. Don't suppose anyone has flown to/from Europe recently and can recommend (or have advice on who to avoid) when it comes to airlines? I'm rather tall, and long haul flights tend to be less fun and more an exercise in contortion. Thanks again guys
  2. Hi guys, I'm getting a bit bored of my current job, where I live and just life in general at the moment so was thinkin of moving back to WA. I was born an Aussie, though haven't been back for getting on 20 years now (I'm 31) and was wondering what the place is like these days. Especially for a GTR owner who likes his modding and cars. I was also wondering what the job situation is like. I'm currently a COO for am ISP, so am pretty technically minded as well as having good management skills. I was thinking of a change in direction though, perhaps into something to do with cars.. Assuming I sold up and moved over, I'd be in the fairly luxurious position of having a bit of cash in the bank, not needing to get a job straight away and could live with friends/relatives for a while. My current plan is to come over August/September time for a week or two's holiday, maybe see some properties, some recruitment agencies etc. to try to get a feel for the place. I guess the main thing I'm asking is - does this make sense, and what advice can you give? Cheers, Kristan (also Kristan on the gtroc in case anyone visits there!)
