Don't even need to spray much to get the benefits, the alcohol component will keep things clean!

Could even skip the catch can.

A mate of mine did this. Unfortunately he neglected to periodically clean the injection nozzle, which being water/meth clagged up. The motor went fkn bang on account of detonating its brains out.

  2. Turbos are fine, just a bit old school as the hipsters have diluted their gtr purity and gone for singles. They are still good units, however and the blokes with ponytails and beige Volvo dailies can get stuffed.

‘The ecu is a good ecu. You just need a good tuna to tune it. My point wasn’t to put down the setup just to highlight you need someone familiar with rb’s and their idiosyncrasies.

.3:1 isn’t earth shattering on the cr. Certainly nothing E85 won’t compensate for in spades if you go that way.

So yeah don’t get negative about it. It will work fine and be loads of fun. FWIW I’ve got -5 turbos and a Link ecu.

I actually dont know. These was ordered from Realstreetperformance, and i belive i had these recommended by them but i could be wrong. Could be the the guy building the engine that told me to get these ones as well.

Send them back and get a higher cr.

Thank you for the reminder about the ballast delete.

AIT? Do you mean intake air temperature sensor?

Well, i guess the tuner can tune the TPS 😬

Yes for the air inlet temp and not what I meant for the tune. See here. Some tunas talk a good game but individual throttle body tunes are beyond them. Where abouts in the world are you?

  4. Begs the question what intake air temperature are you running? Because for some models atleast (EG RB26 in an R32) it should be replaced with something less antiquated/faster responding.

    • Inlet Air Temp sensor (IAT) – From factory the GTR is fitted with an IAT sensor to the inlet manifold and this is supported by the G4+ plug-in. However for best results we recommend an alternative IAT sensor to be fitted to the intercooler pipe just prior to the plenum entrance.  This may use the existing IAT wiring or connect to the expansion connector of the ECU.

Sadly, there's more than one misapprehension regarding my circumstances in your post. First up, I don't drink, so there's nothing to take the edge off. Second, my car is 2600km away, at home. If it wasn't for the Ctek charger the battery would be f**ked because I haven't driven it since early August.

Bunno is pretty, in the summer time. Which, sadly, is coming to a rapid end. It's hot today, but the mornings are getting darker and colder and ti won't be long before it is raining every day again.

Yes. Between the shitful nature of the place and the border closure, I have been receiving it dry and without protection for many months now.

Yeah, I only see that ratty black R33 regularly, and one or two others from time to time around here. At least there is plenty of old chrome bumper stuff paid for by exorbitant tradie/FIFO earnings dribbling around on the weekends.

Yeah the Skylines went and then it was all LS valvetrain upgrades and ECU flashes. Now it is all lift kits and DPF deletes. When I occasionally drive my old 32 I see people losing their sh!t at the sight of it.  Cant quite reconcile it still.

I didn't call it bunghole. That was djr81, who actually lives here. I'm just stuck here by a combination of a shitty project and the border being slammed shut for the majority of the last 6 months.

I call the place Bunnabama. Also sometimes Buntuckey.

You're right about the water sports. I entered my first ever long distance open water swimming race on the weekend. I've never been so fit as I have this summer.

    You stuck at Albemarle?

GTSBoy......Judging by the time you must be "having a few tinnies" by the water.........It looks from google earth an idealic place AND you can scare the "natives" with your "rapid metal" (sorry officer....didn't mean to wake you ! 😂).

Just sorted in the achives ......thought you might like to see how all MY "locals" ever saw my car 🙂

Sorry it is a cultural thing. The only way to show any respect for anything is to relentlessly take the p!ss out of it. On that basis: Mal, your boat appears to be missing a bunghole.

A random photo of Bunghole Skyline for those playing at home. As distinct from a Bunghole Skyline of which there appears to be fewer and fewer, sadly.

It's worse than that. I've been stuck in Bunbury for the last 8 months anyway.

As to the hubcaps - I'm wasn't sufficiently familiar with the movie to know what cars are in it. Apart from the car chase, the rest of the movie is shit. I'm not about to do any research to look for a car in it that doesn't even have those hubcaps on!! I've got infinite hours of youtube videos to watch first. But.....are you sure that they are Charger hubcaps? The do not look anything like Chrysler/Dodge hubcaps of the late 60s (which were universally pretty f**ken ugly!). They do look a lot more like GM product of the late 60s.

Hey there is nothing wrong with Bunghole. Sure it’s no Birmingham, but we go alright.😃

Here are a couple of drawings and three photos.

The first shows what Nismo do to the standard upper link bracket to allow for more castor/camber. Essentially it is a stock component but with the holes drilled differently - the front moved closer to the centreline of the car & the rear lower. Thus the upper link is rotated on two axes - allowing for more castor.

The second shows a stock LHS bracket.

The third shows the Nismo bracket installed with a stock upper arm. Interestingly (or not) the bracket ends up giving you less camber for the same arm length. The shot was taken before I installed some new arms that I had made.

The fourth is a drawing of a Cusco arm - these are 10mm shorter than the stock arms. Note the trail. Unfortunately I don't have a drawing of a stock arm. Mostly due to being lazy.

The last shows the whole lot bolted up with the new arm - in rattle pack black, no less. I drew the arms to use the Whiteline bushes.

As an aside note that Nismo used to do a sliding bracket for the R32, but now all you get is a stock item with harder bushes. Also their castor rods are approx 5mm shorter than the stock items.

Just for posterity I believe there to be an error in the location of the NIsmo bolt hole in the first drawing.
