  1. Lol sorry I was a bit unclear, My car is Toyota Supra... my friends Car is a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T. Was just asking what you guys could recommend as light mods for my friends car.
  2. Hey all, my mate has finnally got his R34 GT-T (very nice car to drive btw) and seeing as my car is going into the shop tomorrow for a NA-T conversion I was wondering what light mods can be made to this stock engine to at least keep our cars reletively on par (only going to run 5 psi on mine for at least a few months). So would it be beneficial to swap out the stock ceramic turbo for a ball bearing one of equal or* greater size, and what can be done to give the RB25 the lowdown kick like the 2JZ (short of expensive stroker kits and twin turbo setups of course ). I don't really know a great deal about modifying Skyline engines so any help is appreciated
  3. not to mention they hammer just as hard as the stock GT-T >_>
  4. Very nice car to drive (first time I've driven a skyline), was really quite funny watching a V8 statesmen get further and further away in the rear view (annoying tailgatist). I can feel its missing say about 500cc of engine but then it hits boost lol. No speeding tickets ^_^
  5. If Italian exotics were worth the same amount of money you most likely wouldn't be saying that, money is irrelevant you like what you like which should not be biased by dollar value.
  6. I agree with you, if I had half a million to burn the first thing I'd do is put 250 grand into my Supra, then buy a R34 V spec 2 and put what ever I got left into that. Japanese cars are just so much better looking, oh and go harder with little modding.
  7. mmm each this his own. The only Euro car I like (in exterior design) would have to be the Enzo Ferrari and its not that great looking either, I didn't like the R35 at first (R34's look way better imo though) but it grew on me... idk maybe im just a Jap car sort of person >_> could never buy a car that wasn't visually pleasing to me no matter what name it had written on it.
  8. Nice ad, nice car (though imo italian cars are butt ugly). Would have an R35 over it any day >_>
  9. Alrighty will do, first I gotta force him to create an account here >_>
  10. Evening just come to see if and how many people from here are from the Cairns region. My mate is very close to finilizing his purchase of a 1998 25GT-T R34, so was wondering if you guys have any meets and all that. I myself drive a MKIV Toyota Supra and have met up with a couple of boys from Cairns, so yeah Japanese imports ftw <3
