  1. where abouts is the cage? can the rear seats still fit in without modification?
  2. slide sell em brand new for less delivered????.....................................
  3. yeah was only seeing wat use thought of it, was an extra 400 bucks to do it.... but yeah i'll run wat i have n change from there, im still using stock cams and intake plenum so tune on that then upgrade cams then tune and see the difference
  4. hey guys n maybe gals.... i've recently recieved my new gt35r but have been wondering about whether or not increasing my compressor wheel to 66mm will be of any benifit to me, see the reason i question it is my hp target is between 450hp-500hp at the wheels but im not after anymore than that as engine may not handle the power, i have spoken to the turbo place who i got it from and they believe that the upgrade is not neccassary for the power im after, also increasing to the 66mm compressor wheel would make the turbo abit lazier as it requires more shaft energy to spin it... the ONLY reason i was looking at the upgrade really was to try make the power with not such a hi boost level (25psi or around about) if upsizing comp wheel was going to help me achieve that power at a lower boost level then i would do it, otherwise i will leave turbo as it is....your thoughts>?????
  5. hey bro can u send me some pics of the rims??? perfect size for wat im after.. cheers
  6. im sorry but that sounds like aload of crap to me, running this turbo bag will have NO effect watsoever on engine wear, how a turbo bag has any relevance to engine wear im not understanding so those mechanics might need to explain to us that reason coz i sure as hell am curious to see how.....
  7. yeah i seen the china copy of greddy plenums up close n personal and they are less than par, after a clean up they "may" work fine..
  8. bouncing off the limiter shouldnt effect knock reading to much, mates 400hp 180 drifting on track never see's a knock reading higher than 35 and he bounces off limiter endless times.. a mate of mine used to record a knock reading of 95 when he started his car up on pfc h/c but once cleared and driving never went abover 30 knock, yet 95 on startup... bizzare
  9. yeah i got one on my hi mount gt35 setup, workks good, bit scary when u first put it on though, kinda smokes n mine caught fire around the edges when car was on dyno getting tuned haha but yeah would highly recommend
  10. yeah that would scare the pants off me if mine knocked to that, highest ive seen on mine was 50 and thats because a certain someone got abit throttle happy before it was tuned <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
  11. yeah i remember u saying this, would be good to see some tough cars come out of there... Jet-180 to start with ..
  12. nice looking setup, cant wait to hear n see results, n im with shnaped second, we'll be both heading out
  13. hey man, i had similar probs with mine n it was just the connections on the loom plug bolting to computer, wasnt 100% straight, the reason your smelling fuel is because its not being burnt by 1 or 2 of the cyls so is going into exhaust, try take plug off and retighten it and make sure its on straight to eliminate that...cheers and good luck
  14. Hey i stopped in to wat i thought was still slide performance in burleigh today to find that slide isnt there anymore but murnane motors, the place that was doing all slides turbo hiflows are still there and opperating as per normal. They still do a wide range of hi flowed turbo's and being an agent for Biagio turbochargers they can get any upgrade size your after, they have all balancing equipment there including ball bearings core balancing machine, they will talk to u and u can chop n change wheels n housings on the turbos to suit your needs. Apart from turbocharging they also do just about everything else including engine rebuilds, engine conversions, parts and services, if your after a good place for your next turbo or engine related upgrade feel free to give them a line and talk to em, there on the Gold Coast... Contact Details are.... Murnane motors.....Phone..(07)55 357 411 Address.....4/11 ramly drive...burleigh heads...Gold Coast....QLD....4220 So i thought i'd post this up on the net because from wat i was being told biagio turbo's were no longer available through slide, BUT as ive found out murnane still operate as normal just having no association with aaron and slide performance, good for locals wanting to do the hiflow option... give them a bell for any info....cheers
  15. where did u buy it from>?? i got sucked in and bought 1 of these sard regs from ebay, fitted it to my car and while adjusting pressure the reg diaphram shit itself and fuel was coming out of the top of it(vacuum line fitting) which was fouling number 2 cyl, bastard. NO REFUND OR REPLY FROM EBAY SELLER....
  16. if your flushing it, put 4ltrs in.. be fine
  17. wat car?? gtr's are gtst's there recommend u run a 1.1mm gap stock.. i previous had to run .8 gap due to stock coil packs not liking the extra gap but now i got some splitfires on the way so will be going straight up to 1.1mm again..
  18. probably havent heard of them coz they didnt officially have a workshop until afew weeks ago, from wat i know they used to do work on friends cars but there base for the business was selling parts via the internet, now they've decided to expand the business and open a workshop, be good, gold coast missed the cars from SUB ZERO once they moved away to dubai, hoping to see some tough cars come out of jap garage...
  19. well there no doubting there is some experience behind them, with mick(sub zero) doing there engine building/head work and tuning, and mark(Jet180) having been aroudn the car scene for awhile, having a strong involvement with imported engines and parts they should be able to help just about anyone out. guess there shop will take place over the next few months... good luck to them i say
