  1. Hi Guys Just posting on behalf of my mate who had his R32 GTR stolen on wednesday night/thursday morning from an apartment complex parking spot at Kensington (practically under his balcony). Its a 1993 R32 GTR S-tune (apparentlly rare) burgundy red in colour with gold bbs 17 inch rims. Plates start with UWD -. If any of you guys see a Red GTR S-Tune with the above description please let us know, the bloke is shattered it was his dream car and took him a while to save up for one and now its gone. Thanks heaps guys for your attention.
  2. Honestly I don’t think there is a car that attracts more attention from hoons than a skyline. I didn’t get a quarter of the attention when I had my S13 Silvia. But once I got my Skyline it was on for young and old. Everybody takes you on from a crappy SRi Barina to a XR8. It is getting to that point where I hope to god that I don’t get stopped at the lights cause no matter who is next to me they will more than likely try to take me on. I usually stare of in to the distance ignore their revving taunts and take off as slow as possible. The biggest culprits here in Geelong are crappy VN to VS commodores, dropped with 20inch chrome rims and a loud exhaust, honestly they wouldn’t even stand a chance against my old civic. Lancer, Prelude and Integra drivers are almost just as bad. Something that I’ve noticed is that I have never had any hooning issues with other import drivers on the road.
  3. "So as a temp. measure, buy some "Dynagrip" 'Weatherstrip and Trim Adhesive' to repair the rubber &/or help the seal to stay put/adhere to the door and sill; till you get your replacement" Thanks heaps for the info Terry ill also have to check out your thread about Where to park you car as this fit my situation spot on.
  4. "Sounds like they were trying to break in (Rip of the window deflector, Coat hanger down through the seals to the passenger door unlock switch, did it myself to my 33GTST, took about 20 seconds)" Thats was my first guess, i always park my car right under the camera so i think they didnt notice the camera at first once they did they buggered off. "You got an immobilizer/alarm installed... right? ....right? :S" Sure Do so its not like they could take my car anywhere, they were after all my stuff inside the car coins magazines hoodie and cd's etc, so its kinda my fault for leaving all that stuff inside. As we speak my car has nothing in it absolutelly nothing (even the cd player has been de tached and is sitting at home) the only thing they could steal is my fluffy dice lol
  5. Hi Guys The other day my car (1998 40th Ann R33 GTS-t) was vandalised at a train station. Somebody ripped off my side window rain and wind deflector, half of it was still attached. By doing this they also damaged my door seals. It took me two days to clean up the mess. It looks ok now but you can now see my damaged seals and im afraid if it rains it might leak inside the car. So im after a new side mirror wind and rain deflector where would be a good place for me to get another one for my Skyline.....wreckers maybe. I ve been told by a mate to actually try nissan dealers as they might be able to get me the part brand new. Cheers Guys
