  1. K. Yeah someone told me a VL does not have a GTR motor in it.
  2. Yeah it does look a bit holden, especially with the orange too. Funnily enough the seat covers are V8 Supercars ones. lol I think I remember hearing a VL Calais Turbo has the same motor as a skyline (correct me if im wrong) maybe the motor was out of a holden?
  3. Yeah, nothing, plaque wise or stamp wise suggests anything. Im wondering if a workshop that does up engines maybe put it on after working on it. We have only just last night started having a good look at her and we are quite surprised at what we are finding so far, It is deffinately not stock. Maybe someone knows of a motor builder who may have put this badge on it?? I wish I knew more about the cars history.
  4. Can anyone tell me what this Limited Edition Badge means on this motor. Checked the block number and its not N speck or what ever it is. (yes Im a not too car minded female - deal) It has Nismo 555c injectors so I have discovered, dont really know much of the internals, Hubby suspects it has cams but dont think that has anything to do with this "Limited Edition" Badge. I guess it is possible a previous owner decided it looked cool and just stuck it on there. any info would be appreciated.
  5. Sorry for the late reply, dont get on here all that often. The doggy day cruise went well. There was only a small turn out which I had a feeling it would be. so we decided to skip the cruise and go straight up the coast to the beach. The drive was still nice doing the coastal run. The dogs all had a great time at the beach, funnily enough none of them were fussed on the water but just loved playing on the beach and seeing/meeting some other dogs that were there. My 16month old son LOVED the beach, it was his first time at a beach, he is a real water baby, he just wanted to run off right into the deep if I had allowed it, I ended up having to use the lead rope to tie around his weist so he couldnt run off or go too deep and get carried away. The biggest sandpit he has ever seen was also a delight. I think it is possible he had more fun than the dogs did. The prizes I brought ended up being enough for each dog to take one as a treat, so all in all the dogs got very spoilt. Will try to run another one before summer is over, so keep an eye on here or WCC.
  6. no worries, Im sure we will do something like this again. Gotta spoil mans best friend right? I guess its possible you might have seen my car its a silver R32 4 door, Looks stock, limo tint with gunmetal standard rims, nothing special really. Has a big pink west coast cruisers sticker on the back window so that makes it a little more recognisable. My Hubby has just started using it as his daily so it will be on the streets a bit more now. For anyone else who is coming we will see you & your best buds (dogs that is) on Sunday.
  7. this is this Sunday, So brush up on your dogs skills, give him/her a wash and come out for a day of fun! No dog... Come along anyway.

  12. Well I think its all personal preference. I guess the first question you need to ask is... is this your daily driver? If it is you may want to limit your mods to avoid any unwanted attention, and then Id say the suggestions on here are good. However, if this is your weekend car and/or youd sacrafice and accept a yellow sticker in return for a hot looking ride then I say go the kit all the way. Nothing sets a car apart and makes it more unique than a kit I reckon. Sexy yes? Guess you also need to ask yourself how much your willing to spend, these things tend to be endless money pits. In the end just do what ever your heart desires, it is your car, so make it YOUR car.
  13. Great cruise, shame we had to bail at the second last meet point, poor bubba was not feeling well.
  14. Good job Socs, hope to see you all there.
