  1. I'm in, I'll bring cash on the day if that's ok?!
  2. No worries, the clutch is much better suited to your car, will be good to see it all back together and racing. I currently have a $300 offer on the tail shaft, is anyone willing to pay more than that? $400 maybe?
  3. Clutch sold locally, thanks. Still keen to move the tail shaft on, surely someone wants it, make an offer, I like cash!
  4. Not sure, I did get a rough price to Sydney of $80ish. I guess you could presume about $100 to Adelaide, though I would suggest getting a proper quote.
  5. I also have a similar problem with my r33. Since owning it, about 2 months now, I've changed diff, tail shaft and clutch and a vibration still persists. My vibration is not as bad as what you described konect but it is enough for me to not drive the car on the highway or attend track events such as happy laps, which is very annoying. I had planned to fit new wheel bearings to the rear and maybe rear tie rod ends or ball joints. I might now also look into gearbox mounts as the car came with Hardrace engine and gearbox mounts. I'm very interested to here from others what was their fix. This problem dampens the enjoyment of owning such a vehicle.
  6. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450279-fs-bris-r33-1pc-tail-shaft/ Scroll down to see the clutch.
  7. Anyone interested in both items for $1500???
  8. How's the fitment of the Getrag 6spd in the skyline tunnel? Much modification needed? Nice project, something I'd love to do one day as I'm a big fan of the JZ.
  9. Hey guys, tail shaft is still available, although there has been some interest, just waiting for someone to pull the trigger. In addition to this I now also want to sell the clutch that just came out of the car. I must warn though, as you will see in the photos, this clutch is not very suited to daily drivers. It was removed from my car as I'll never make enough hp to need it and I'm driving my skyline daily a at the moment. Only a few months old and hasn't done many k's, just like the tail shaft. Looking for $1250ono.
  10. Still keen WARLORD? Did you get a quote for postage?
  11. My post code is 4053 at home or 4009 at work, can get it picked up from either. Or I can drop it at Pack&Send Brisbane CBD, I called them today and they said roughly $82 to send to Sydney fully insured and tracked, I took a guess on the weight when I spoke to them though. I have had someone make an offer via PM but have not got back to me to confirm yet.
  12. The tail shaft is of excellent build quality, I can't imagine it ever having a reliability issue. The previous owner of the car had big HP plans for the car which never came about, being the reason for this tail shaft and the ridiculous clutch that I'm also about to take out of it. There is nothing wrong with these parts I'm removing, just that they are too much for the car as I want it. As for vibrations, at first I thought this tail shaft was the cause of a vibration the car has but since changing the diff and tail shaft back to stock items, the vibration is still there. So, I can't fault either of those items for causing a vibration as it's still there. I'm now thinking it might be in the rear wheels or something else like that. I will get some proper measurements tonight but from memory length is a bit shy of 1400mm overall, width would be a bit shy of 90mm and weight would be about 8kg at a guess just from carrying it on the weekend.
