ok so now i am living in banksia grove, my car has S.A plates on it so it stands out like a sore thumb at the moment, if you see me on the road feel free to give me a wave as im sure to wave back at all skyline drivers...... no doubt i'll catch some of you guys and girls on a cruise soon enough.... cheers mick.

my 31 4 door manual has cruise control..... which will come in handy on the crossing of the nullabor.....it is an after market set up that works on the engine revs...... just set and forget its wicked for fuel economy and pesky 50k zones in the city

spotted a very nice R33 on elizabeth way today around 10.30ish am, chatted to darren the owner of it, very nice to meet someone who is enthusiastic about ALL skylines , not just 32,33, 34's.......

i really HATE the fact that i waited 3 months for my GTS-X to get here only to have it trashed in the container when being unloaded........now i have to find another one. spewing big time.........

imo if we co operate with police and see where it goes we may be surprised ( dont hold your breath ) if we go under ground, so to speak, it will cause no end of problems. i have been on 1 cruise organised by kellie, and every 1 was told at the start "if you act like a dick you will be reported to the police". that was with out police present.....if the cops do show up to see what we are doing then see what is said at the start, maybe they will leave sau/sa alone after a few meets. as for the defects side, i think police should pay more attention to the $200 shit boxes on the roads that have more rust than panels, breaks that dont work, tires that are bald.....these cars are dangerous on the road. from what i have seen/ heard most ppl that own an import are car enthusiests, who spend most of thier time / money upgrading thier car to have better handleing, breaking and road holding. as import owners we should be able to stand proudly beside our cars, not pushed under ground like "bikies". and if you get pulled over for being a tool you should not complain about it, just learn from it. only my opinion tho.....

i hate ppl that look at our 31 like it's just another shopping trolly.... or the looks you get when giving a wave to others on the road from said 31...... the wankers up my street in their commonwhores that persist in doing burnouts at 3am for the lenth of the street..... tools that give false information regarding modafications to cars they have never even been around..... wankers that ring up for stufff you have advertised then dont show up, or call to say they arent comming, and cock heads that SMS questions about adverts in the paper, ( do i look like i am made of money ) i figure if i advetise something and pay $60 to the trading post ppl should have the decency to call and not expect me to call them......... end rant/

Although I have met no one IRL so it might be a bit weird. we will be there in a 31........it does not blend well with other members so thats two ppl that will be wierded out. yaaay

i used a heat gun and plastic applicators ( putty ) to remove the factory stickers on the side of my wifes 4 door...... they came off but left a residue on the car that wont come off.. i've tried wax & grease remover, thinners, eucalyptus oil, hot soapy water, etc etc...... will be repainting the area after i sand it off me thinks.....
