  1. Car price has been reduced to $19,000. Probably should have posted that a while back, oops. Car is almost SOLD... just waiting for funds transfer in early June. This time is a genuine sale Thanks for the props fellas. The fact this car hasn't been sold until now is purely a reflection of the used import turbo market over the past 12 months. Heaven if you are a buyer... demoralising if you are a seller.
  2. Back from interstate, and have just renewed registration for another 6 months. I have to sell the car now, it's costing too much in unused rego, insurance and 6 monthly maintenance.. so price reduction time: $20,300 only 110,341km HKS 2530's freshly reconditioned by GCG in Sept 13!
  3. 6 month Oil and Filter service done today at 110,210km. Used Penrite 10 Tenths Racing 10-40W oil the std Ryco Z56B, plus a dose of MBL-8. $21,900 ono put that tax return to good use!
  4. G'day Fellas, If you are stressed about whether or not a Nissan Technician put an "Autech" sticker on a car during initial build... then this is not the car for you. In fact, a stock car is probably more your speed. In saying that, you could always spring for the extra couple of bucks to buy an Autech sticker... because we all know that Nismo and Autech stickers add kW like there's no tomorrow There's just not that many Autech's modified to this level, and any that are for sale asking similar prices generally have either some pretty low level mods done to fuel/boost, or have significant problems... and simply aren't even in the same performance ballpark. This has had so much more integrated than simply dropping an RB26 in it! If you're searching for that Autech that's as complete a package as this car, you're simply gonna have to pay a lot more dollars. Sometimes expectations just need to be adjusted. But, to show I listen to the punters, here's a price reduction for ya... $22,000 ono 110,153km on the clock Will be doing the 6 monthly oil & filter service in the next couple of weeks (travelled less than 450km since Jan). If you are about badges over substance, go buy a Mercedes!
  5. Found out this week during a test drive that with passengers in the back, under full noise, she squats so hard that the left rear ever so slightly rubs the guard. FAT 265 treads! Rear guards rolled this morning at custom wheels & tyres (penrith, good guys, did the job well and quickly, $45 a corner). Full clearance now
  6. No payment yet, these are now available. First in, best dressed. Indicative freight to Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane is around $30-$35 (ish). Also, seat will definitely fit C34 (was installed in my car) and R33 (was removed from an R33)... confident it will fit R32 (based on research)... but now know that it doesn't fit R34 (It was close but the mounting holes didn't quite line up). Dumps, CAS, a set of RB26 coilpacks, space saver spare wheel (x2), and stock stag gear all still available. The rest has been sold.
  7. Hey mate, Coilovers are currently on hold pending payment at end of this week. Will let you know their availability either way on Sat. Cheers, Pete
  8. Hey Dmitry, Thanks for the honest and candid feedback and the industry insight, and be assured, no insult taken. You are right, there's not much demand for pre 2000 wagons, partly because of their age, and I would be able to get considerably more if I wrecked it and parted it out. From what I can see, $15-16K is prob about right for a heavily modified RB25 stag or a stock high k's, poor condition 260RS. Now it this was an NM35 with the same donk... that'd prob be a different story. Parting the car out is something I just can't consider at the moment given just how "time poor" I am. It will probably take some time to sell, purely because it will take an educated buyer looking for a 260RS who is not happy with the stock performance. But once someone sees it who knows what they want, and knows any sort of basic roadmap to performance mods (and costs!), they will surely jump at this car. If you are in the market for a RB26 Stagea, ala 260RS, dealers are still asking for 20-22K for stock, tired 260's... in my mind it's a no-brainer, how could you go past this car. I'll leave it at this... if you were looking for an equivalent, you would have to drop about $15-20K on a Holden R8 Sportwagon, get an Audi RS6 (the V10 ones) or spend considerable time and money to work out how to make a Chrysler 300C SRT8 handle properly, go faster and stop quicker. All of those are around $70K + options. Over to you, general public!
  9. G'day 02stagea, Actually just took delivery of a shiny red 03 BMW X5, 4.4L V8 last Thursday for my wife. So nah, not looking at trading for an X5 anymore. Cash/cheque/bank transfer etc is good to go! Cheers, Pete
  10. Cheers fellas... I can't believe it hasn't sold either. All I know is that the market's a bit quiet at the moment. Must be some sorta global financial downturn that's keeping people from buying insanely fast and practical cars. I don't get hassled by the fuzz in the 'riff (Penrith) purely because I only cut loose in the right time, place, circumstance. Entry ramp off Mulgoa Rd to M4 heading westbound, has excellent entry speed and runoff if traffic timed right (and it's REAL close to Regentville copshop, hehe). Yeah, I don't go in for the night cruising scene either... I'm a family man now dammit! Will be paying for 6 months rego/CTP (til 28 Nov 2013) tomorrow. -> It's Shannons CTP, so that's gotta be worth another 5-7kW !
  11. ^^ haha, happy wife = happy life! Cheers for the bump price update... $22,990 will be sold with rego til November 2013.
