  1. Hi Everyone I'm having trouble understanding which type of clutch fork pivots suit the RB25 gearbox. As far as i can tell, there are two different types? Could someone elaborate which gearboxes the short & long pivots suit? Cheers
  2. WTB stock 97/98 RS4 stagea Looking for a clean, stock 1997/1998 RS4 stagea. Cash ready to go. Looking to spend about 5/6k, which is what they're worth. Mechanical problems ok.
  3. Im certain the system is bled. I bought a larger slave due to choosing a button clutch kit with an option of a heavier clamping pressure plate. Slight hydraulic advantage would give a slightly easier pedal to push. The box is bolted to an FJ20. All Exedy heavy duty button clutch kits, listed for R33, R32, RB20/RB25, S12 Silvia/FJ20 are all the same part number. Thought the release bearing might be different heights for each model, but same bearing in all kits. Clutch is 100% installed correctly. Can only go on one way anyway. I can feel the release bearing pushing the pressure plate fingers through the pedal, however as said this at the end of pedal travel.
  4. Hopefully these two photos clear up what I mean. I have the slave shown in top photo. I also have the nismo 13/16" unit. Is there a difference between these aside from hose thread and blees nipple location? Im hoping there is two different types of slaves for 25 box, one with a longer rod? There is no pedal box adjustment for my car. The clutch master rod is also adjusted all way out
  5. Hi all Can someone tell me the difference between slave cylinders for RB25 boxes? One is straight and one is right angled. I have the right angled one, my clutch take up point is very low, practically at end of pedal travel. Does anyone know if the straight one has the same mounting bolt diameter as angled? And does the straight have a longer travel? Its for a conversion and bought the box without a slave. So can't just replace old with new. Cheers
  6. Hi all I'm after X4 15" steel rims from an R31. PCD 114.3. The 14" may be an option if you're local and i can try on first. (i have R31 rear brakes on Datsun 1600) Not after anything special, just rims lying around you dont wanna look at anymore. Prefer NSW, Pm or Call Cheers. Dan 0429 142 641
  7. Hi All, I have an R33 (im assuming) gearbox, for which im looking to upgrade the slave cylinder. I have my eye on an upgraded 13/16 Nismo item on eBay. Only drama is the seller either doesnt speak english or doesnt give a crap, coz he cant tell me which variant i should buy. Could someone have a look at my box pic, and the eGay link and have a crack at which variant i need? It's a 2WD gearbox with push clutch. The seller claims both twin hole cylinders are 32mm apart. If you're wondering why i dont just match up the old cylinder..the box didnt come with one. Cheers. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321088617476?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

  9. Hey all, i have an RB25DET box behind my FJ20ET. I need a slave cylinder to finish conversion. I've been googling images, been on egay, it looks like there is more than one type? (one type is long & straight, the other is right angled?) could someone shed some info or post up a pick of which slave cylinder i should be using. below is a pick of my box to help out...
  10. a few years ago, i used a bright blue fully synthetic race gear oil. i had a crunchy second gear too. filled up, drove out into street, full noise, into second, no crunch, skids up the street. be worth spending a bit more than your usual 75w90 gear oil.
