  3. Yes i was thinking the same with the filter there, i will remove it an check the vent. thanks man
  4. 300rwkw no problems just goin through a couple of yoke seals.
  5. Hey just a quick question in regards to joke seals, well this is my 2nd one ive gone through in a few months gearbox is in good condition an using redline lightweight shockproof oil.Is this a regular issue with these boxes? could it be a pressure build up running high boost, ive got an inline filter for gbox oil so could this be a problem?thanks
  6. Well couldnt wait till this morning so last nite got stuck into it an pulled the turbo an manifold off to inspect where the possible leak was an i found a hole that i didnt get to properly with the welder just on top of the merge where the wastegate pipe comes from plus had a small pin hole further down,no more leaks an does sound a lot better,it is a bit louder than before but im still a happy camper, im running a 3'' dump -3'' exhaust with a x-force rear muffler, still would like to quietn it down a little.
  7. Im running an rb20 standard bottom end standard intake manifold with a gt35r .63 standard cams no cam gears was with a chinesse manifold wolf 3d etc etc running 1.5bar made just on 300rwkw 402 rwhp with water meth for about 6mths an no problems yet.touch wood..no just put on 6 boost manifold..all in the tune
  8. ha ha yeah its a bit laggy that why ive only got a .63 rear but when it comes on it comes on hard.
  9. Definately not knocking Kyles manifold mate i tell ya well you guys no this is a work off art.I havnt had a chance to really go over the exhaust an check for any leaks but this can only be the cause, its hard to notice it at idle its only when at cruise under exceleration which leads to an exhaust leak somewhere.ill suss this out first thing in the morning.
  10. will do. sometime next week when i get a chance an it will be interesting with no other changes besides ex manifold.
  11. As for the sound you dont want to sound ricey, just took car for a spin then boost doesnt seem to come on earlier but it does a little more voilently, pulls real strong. It has made 402rwhp so ill put it bak on the dyno an see if there is any difference with the 6 boost.
  12. Hey just put a new 6 boost manifold on my rb20 an did have a cheap chinesse manifold on it an the car sounded deep an tuff as but now with the new manifold it sounds a bit like a hyundai note which is pissing me off.Only other thing ive done is mount the wastegate down near the bell housing.Im goin to hav to put another muffler on it to take out the ricey sound, anyone had similar issues? thanks running a gt35r an 45mm progate if that helps..
  13. Awesome engine bay dude well done,an thanks for the link will check this out..
  14. Imight just heat wrap it an if im not happy i could always put a beanie over the top.
  15. Yes i was thinking of the wrap as well,my dump is wrapped an it does a good job so i may have answered my own question, i hav done a little bit of research but comes with mixed results.Ihav read that beanies can catch fire is this true?
  16. Im assuming your car weighs in around 3300lbs? my old hk ute with a 400 chev made 545rwhp an went 132mph,now looking at the speed calculator at 3300lbs an 131mph your making around 560rwhp
  17. Just wondering what are the pros an cons with a beanie or hpc coating the rear housing, would like to drop under bonnet temps, thanks
  18. Very cheap dude i just payed $43 a pair to get my front disks machined, good to see ya keeping prices down.
  19. i have made 402rwhp a few monts back in a 32 gtst with rb20 an went to the track the other nite an went 12.90 115 with coilovers an wheelspin but car weighs in at 3256lb with stereo spare tyre tools an 3/4 tank of fuel. Will take out all those things an put standard rear shocks in to get the power down to the ground..
  20. Interesting well i may give the BCPR7ES a go.thanks guys
  21. I have never had any spark issues with 8s as such just wondering if i could get away with 7s? my 32 is just a cruiser with the odd stab.more inclined to a street driving heat range
  22. Hey, im currently making 299rwkw-402rwhp on an rb20 now i am using ngk r567a-8 non protruded plug i just checked my plugs an they were fouled up but i had a boost leak hense maybe why the plugs are now fouled up.What would anyone recommend 7 or 8 heatrange running 1.5bar. Have all supporting mods etc.I have searched but got no concrete results an most seem to be using BKR7ES. Thanks for any imput.
  23. Hey just been flicking through a few pages here an im about to buy some new front pads, now i hav a 32 gtst type m its has just on 3ookw an after a good street only pad.Im thinking along the lines of QFM hp-x what do you guys think? thanks
  24. So to lower the car i need to wind the shock adjuster up is this true? new to coilovers an i was told it works the opposite so i need a longer spring to lower it more, thats why im a bit confused an the suspension shop didnt even mention this to me,in any other given situation you do need a lower spring to lower the car.
