  1. thats cool man, nice work is that illegal in any way? lol
  2. needs more revs. combo of shit tyres and overly stiff rears and worn bushes in your case id say. start with some decent tyres, then bushes. my 34 will do it if the rear stiffness is made really stiff, otherwise its fine.
  3. weld it good it wont break, have personally seen a single welded diff go through 3 cars and given an absolute hell the whole time, also have seen a weldy break in under 15mins (same type of diff)
  4. if your concidering a spool you might as well weld it. does exactly the same thing bar the fact a minispool is reversible if you change your mind. Alot of people are quick to flame welded diffs, sure theyre not ideal, but anyone whos driven one knows theyre not unbearable, nor particularly dangerous (even in the wet, especially when adhering to speed limits) and will do exactly what you want it to do, every time. Drove an rx7 with a welded diff for a long time, no complaints.
  5. i should invest in a car trailer and do port kembla --> syd runs for extra cash i live bout 5mins away from port kembla car port.
  6. you can open all hose clamps up all the way, wrap them around the pipe and then do them back up. make sure your rubber joiner isnt pushed too far down the pipe if you cant seem to get it on. it really is not a difficult task.
  7. i remember reading something about that. you can have a sleeve made up for the bolts easily. Do r34 gtt ones bolt straight up though?
  8. Can also vouch for buddy clubs street drivability. I've got the "d1+ Spec Damper" in my r34, they handle fantastically even on soft, and the are very very very smooth driving for a coilover suspension setup
  9. how the hell did they jump so high lol
  10. yep you can quite easily say i want my front bar this high and want the back to sit level with it. provided your suspension is height adjustable any mechanic can adjust to your liking very easily. keep in mind youll need a wheel allignment after a height change
  11. you've got the right attitude, alot better idea than most peoples 'make it go fast' thing. The r34gt can be quite alot of fun even if its not super quick. I'll send you a pm bout the coilovers tomorow when i get home, only got internet on my phone tonight!
  12. im not sure theyre from ur car hey... i dont know of anything in my 34 that resembles that!
  13. fair enough, i just dont think youd feel the difference upgrading the rear to something bigger really, the front, definantly, just if you were on a budget might be easier to leave the rear as in (with new pads+disks) I Believe the r33 calipers fit on the rear also, but im not 100% sure, not even sure if theyre bigger than the stock ones? might be something to check out? I *may* have some genuine buddy club (NOT BC like JJ sell) coilovers fs. (am selling my car and if i have enough interest in parts will return it to stock. As well as camber arms and toe arms (a must have if you plan on lowering a decent amount, to avoid a huge tyre bill)
