  1. Different taillights and front bar + Nissan instead of Infiniti. There may be a few other styling differences but engine and powertrain all the same I'm quite sure.
  2. Yea the Z's arrival is good. More mods and aftermarket support for sure and hopefully lower pricing. There are a few tuners that I have been following for the Q50/60 platform that are now tuning the new Z's and it's amazing how much power they are getting from stock engines. Keen to see how they go. So far the tuned Q50/60 I see have been reliable other than a handful of porous blocks and failed turbos (early ones)
  3. Haha no worries Duncan, I have the Q60 Red Sport....I was waiting for the 400R to be available for importing here but the Q60 came up for sale at too good of a price so I took it instead. 2019 and after, the turbos were changed a little I think, so 400R should be ok for turbos. As for porous blocks - yea that is my main concern at the moment. Hopefully its just a batch of them from over in US and not JDM/AUDM ones. I was looking at the hybrids....sadly none 2019 and up.
  4. 400R is for the Q50 only and is more of a limited edition but similar spec to Red Sport. The main difference between 300hp vs 400hp would be the turbos - the Red Sport have sensors on the turbo on how fast they spin. Other than that you guys have mentioned already regarding the hx and water pumps. Hopefully we can import post 2019 ones in the near future. These cars are bang for buck imo.
  5. I thought of doing this....but cause of how rare these cars are (in me and Pauls case - Q60), I doubt they would know how to get the remote start working. I read some posts in the US forums that it should work if they just code the FOB that has the remote start buttons. That might be worth a try I guess.
  6. When I get desperate enough I might bite the bullet for the cable and try out the software.
  7. Trying to get Nissan to code a FOB for a Q60S and it's like pulling teeth. Might look into this one. Thanks mate
  8. Do you know if this software can code new FOBs etc?
  9. Yea in the V36 my milage varies depending on where I go. The usual commute to and from work it gets to 12-13L/100km, but if I do a long drive to rural areas, consumption drops to 9.5-10L/100km
  10. Thanks for the info. Will have a look - I have been dragging my feet getting a OBD reader. Unfortunately I'm on iOS. Might see if I can find an old android somehwere haha
  11. Thats good to hear you have fixed it. Unrelated - what OBDII do you have?
  12. 👀 hey folks, been a long time. hows it going?
  13. Not locally, I ordered them from America directly. CZP is usually my pick for stuff I want to buy from over there.
  14. Any HFC for Z33 Series 2 and Z34 will fit. I personall had Stillen HFC before changing to Fast Intentions Resonated HFC.
  15. You will need Nissan Consult III or a similiar tool to pair it.
  16. And the comedy continues. I don't get it. If you are so adamant that you are right with the tuning box, then prove it. Dyno before and after and 1/4 mile time slips. Prove us wrong. We have all been in the car modding community for long enough to know what are gimmicks and whats real.
  17. Yea me too, the first couple of years since they made it was pretty tough with things not working or it being too slow and stuff. Glad to see that it's refined quite abit now.
  18. Yea the JDM models are not on the sevs list yet.
  19. The only other thing I can say is the build quality was not great and did not look good. A few people I know ended up wrapping up the plastic trims etc. but your car, your call.
  20. You could get the android tesla screens - they are getting better with the newer versions since they use newer chipsets etc. You may get issues installing them if they send you a wrong harness and in some cases some features may not work. I can understand wanting to change. I went through a year of looking to change mine but decided not to after seeing how much f**king around it needed (this was when these were first released and many people were doing testing and talking to the manufacturer to get different things programmed for different variations of the car in USDM/JDM etc. The module currently in my V36 is from Naviplus. It's local and so far my AV guy have had good support from the guys at Naviplus. https://www.naviplus.com.au/online-store/Nissan-V36-J50-Skyline-Apple-CarPlay-&-Android-Auto-Integration-p96711064
  21. What is your end goal? Is it to have Android Auto/Car Play? If so, you can get a module install to retain the factory screens.
  22. Pre tune it was usually sitting around mid 12L/100km. Post tune it went to around 11L/100km.
  23. Wow low 9l/100km. I get mid 11l/100km on long distance freeway driving. That is incredible.
