  1. I've been wanting to do this as well while my motor is out. Do you want it gloss maroon red like the R34 GT-R? That's something I would like. Just the rocker covers, maybe the cam gear covers too. That plus a fancy oil cap would make it nice. VHT engine enamel and some polish might do it. T.

    Jobs?

This is an SAU beach party??? 9am Monday morning no doubt T.
  3. There's no insurance like this. Theft is a big risk. If someone takes your car, they are up for upwards of $20,000 etc. etc. They won't wear that. T.
  4. Hey, my pulleys are out of the engine as it is. Anyone got a contact in Sydney??? T.
  5. That was easily one of the most sobering pieces of text I've ever read on SAU or anywhere. In many ways, it reflects the problems that we all have here. Do we highly modify a stock Skyline and get it running hard with everything done to it? Or leave it relatively stock and just enjoy it for what it is? I agree here. If I knew it was such a strong possibilty that I would blow turbos and engines on the Skyline BEFORE I bought it, I would get something else. It's not even so much the money, it's the time, running around and the wait for things to be done. T.
  6. You know I'm in on a GB T.
  7. Because it's not fullee seek bro... Paint CF? No way T.
  8. That car is sexy as fark... GT-R rims, dropped on its nuts You really need a GT2530 sized snail on a 20/25. T.
  9. My workshop eventually bought one. But the r32 GT-R manual in pdf format is useful. T.
  10. I would say these guys are the least problematic courier we use. T.
  11. They way I think about it is this. I can forgive Microsoft if it was an XP only bug. But it affects ALL NT4 based systems going back to 1996. And it's not a hard bug to fix. That shows a bit of incompetance from Microsoft. T.
  12. This is soooo cheap. Where are you? Someone should have snapped these up like yesterday. T.
  13. This isn't in anticipation of the dyno day is it??? :bahaha: Boosters are shit, they only raise 0.1 of a octane point. There's really one foolproof way and that's 10% or more toluene. That gives real full points octane boostage. But I wonder if it's worth it. It certain is in track situations. T.
  14. Best thing to do is perhaps a painted fiber bonnet??? T.
  15. THOSE 5 cylinders are now sitting on my desk. The ones replacing them will work slightly better I think T.
  16. Going rate is $1,400 inc. rings. T.
  17. Why couldn't we make up a set locally??? Someone here must be a turner and fitter? T.
  18. I gotta agree here. I was here when SAU started and it was quiet. I was lucky if I saw an r33 once a week. Now SAU is very very busy and I see an r33 once at day. AT LEAST But in the end, so what? When you drive you heavily habibified Skyline do you care??? Does it lessen your enjoyment? Are you happy now that a Skyline headlight is not $900 like it was a while ago? I don't think driving any other sort of car would have the same level of support and community as the Skyline. T.
  19. And you're not Frankie boy??? Let's just say that my turbo has steel wheels and ball bearings and you bet it's gonna earn it's keep that day! T.
  20. Comprehensive insurance also covers hail damage and if an uninsured driver hits you. Even with the best alarm system on the planet AND comprehensive insurance, there are some parts of Sydney I wouldn't park my car, this Skyline just owes me more than just money T.
  21. **** it man. These people are obviously pricks. And **** your insurance company too. In the past my insurance company has recorded my not at fault accidents and it's backfired on me. Best to not report it at all. Time to get nasty. Talk to your lawyer. Sue these bumholes for full cost + inconvenience. I get upset by their intention to make it 50/50 when it clearly was not your fault. It is obvious that the impact speed was something high too! (40+) T.
  22. I reckon they would be piss easy to install if you do them with your timing belt. Ring them up tomorrow. Ask when they have the bloody RB25/26 T.
  23. It looks like you had a bit of a bingle. I can you a price for all these parts. I'll pm you tomorrow. T.
  24. Hey look at this: http://www.gofastbits.com.au/pulley.htm Looks like no pulleys for the rb25 T.
  25. Engine response would be up by a big amount. With a lighten flywheel the thing would spin up like a mines r34 gt-r. Anyone got an idea on price??? T.
