That was easily one of the most sobering pieces of text I've ever read on SAU or anywhere. In many ways, it reflects the problems that we all have here. Do we highly modify a stock Skyline and get it running hard with everything done to it? Or leave it relatively stock and just enjoy it for what it is? I agree here. If I knew it was such a strong possibilty that I would blow turbos and engines on the Skyline BEFORE I bought it, I would get something else. It's not even so much the money, it's the time, running around and the wait for things to be done. T.

I gotta agree here. I was here when SAU started and it was quiet. I was lucky if I saw an r33 once a week. Now SAU is very very busy and I see an r33 once at day. AT LEAST But in the end, so what? When you drive you heavily habibified Skyline do you care??? Does it lessen your enjoyment? Are you happy now that a Skyline headlight is not $900 like it was a while ago? I don't think driving any other sort of car would have the same level of support and community as the Skyline. T.

Comprehensive insurance also covers hail damage and if an uninsured driver hits you. Even with the best alarm system on the planet AND comprehensive insurance, there are some parts of Sydney I wouldn't park my car, this Skyline just owes me more than just money T.
