  1. Install can get expensive as they often need to fabricate new IC piping and even cut chassis rails (eek!). T.
  2. Yeah I'll do a deposit right now for $900... seeing as Hills want $895 for their 'top cover only' unit. T.
  3. EVO's are faster and better handling (and a better car) than the WRX. They'll give a 33 gts-t a work over. I'd leave them alone. T.
  4. You need to get it checked out by a import specialist (not pedders or dicks like that). My HKS setup apparently needs some work but I'm too busy. T.
  5. It depends on how you feel about it. The story goes that if you ask for a custom plenum they generally fabricate the top end, bolt it onto the original plenum bottom and them feed the pipe next to your water bottle. They give you back all the bits left over. But at this point the Greddy looks like the goods to me. T.
  6. Monaros are good. No car deserves this. He could well have stolen a GT-R and done the same thing. T.
  7. A lot of them use the standard runners... again there's no problem. That's why the Greddy is so much more. T.
  8. I am almost 100% sure the size is generic size - ie. measure it and if it matches a currently available model, there you go. T.
  9. Well it is $650 or so... In that regard, if it works, fair enough really. T.
  10. Well to me if a Greddy is a bit more I'd rather have that really. T.
  11. Nah mine is worse. It makes a full on ticking noise when you power the accessories. That's just the electric power, not the starter motor. 1 out of every 10 starts. Yeah I dunno. T.
  12. It only does it when you're boost up high. I can't get mine to do anything below 1.0 bar - above that however... T.
  13. Unfortunately better tyres, better suspension will do more for you than outright kilowatts. Safer too. T.
  14. I'm awaiting some comments from Judd about this one LOL T.
  15. Dude, Almost everyone has had an accident caused by a taxi. Even me. Twice. I stay away from them just on principle. Oh and welcome back Helen. T.
  16. I hate saying this but it looks like Andrew has the goods here. My AVC-R ticks a lot too on high boost settings. And it's apparently normal but I get your point, it is disconcerting if you were not otherwise aware. T.
  17. I have a '95 and there's no ignition amp box either. Mines a July/Sept build one. Definitely series one for me. T.
  18. Had mine up past 210km/h... And you know mine is certainly not the most powerful unit there is. T.
  19. You be better off improving the driveability of your stock turbo. T.
  20. Injectors, z32 and 044 should not be too expensive I would imagine? T.
  21. Nah there's no moving parts - should be fine* T. * just in case people are humour impaired.
  22. There's no real problem with the factory plenum except that it looks awful and there's a reasonable amount of heat soak. Again I point you to Mines - they had a 33 with heaps of power using stock box, stock plenum. I'm doing this more for looks. T.
  23. I got a 60 because I was pinging like crazy with my crap r33 AFM and bung fuel pump. T.
  24. Yeh I get 43.5rwkW out of my mildly worked RB25DET! If your turbo is ****ed, either get it fixed (cheap) or replaced (expensive). Replacing standard for standard is no good. T.
  25. Hey dude, Would you mind taking a pic of your engine bay? T.
